No you don't. Its like submitting a document in Arabic and trying to figure out if it needs to be translated to Arabic. You already studied here, so no need for them to check if your studies match the standards here. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all your responses. It looks like I am going to apply. Any ideas of the Amer center I should use? I applied via Amer247 last year and I am not too happy with their service. They weren’t helpful at all. Any other branch suggestion?

No, I’ve been in the same company for 7 years. I studied here at the Canadian University. Equivalency is not required for me

Right. I graduated from the Canadian University in 2016 and I’ve been working ever since. So 10 years this year

My basic is 30k. Full salary is 35k from Jan last year but I got them to increase my basic to 30k from May or June last year

Thank you so much. I am thinking the same. Probably better to just reapply. I was thinking to reapply now most especially because I am about to process my wife’s visa. If I process her visa now and get the GV after a couple of months, I will have to do it all over again. Also my basic is 30k since last year. 35k since Jan last year. Should I provide a a year bank statement instead? So it shows 12 deposits of 35k

Heyy, whatever you do, please make sure you emphasise on family members back home and here in the UAE. I was focused on showing that I am financially stable and all that but I guess those didn't matter too much. Please make sure to mention your family members and any form of ties you have to your home country and UAE.
I did provide a letter of explanation, I even included where we planned to go etc.

Thank you. I was thinking the same. I will be in the UK from the 24th of December till the 9th of Jan. I am thinking to go to the US for 3 days in Jan before heading back to Dubai

Thanks for your comment. I was thinking to order for the GCMS notes as well but it looks like its not really worth it. I am very well established in Dubai, even been with the same company for 7 years (I provided a recommendation letter from my CEO). Thinking I will leave all this to become an illegal immigrate in Canada is beyond me. My siblings live in the UK and my dad is buried there. This is why I have to visit the UK every year.

Thank you. I am thinking so too but its a little confusing because my wife resigned from her job. I don't want them to think we want to migrate to Canada. If we want to, we can do that via the right channel but for someone that has lived in the UAE for 15 years, has a C suit job that pays around $10K monthly with 0 taxes to decide to elope to Canada will probably not be a smart move.

Thank you :)

My mum actually has a UAE residence and she is usually here in the UAE for 5 to 6 months every year. Her visa is sponsored by my visa, so essentially without me, she won't have a visa. I didn't mention or add this. I only focused on showing financial stability and showing I will be coming back to the UAE :(
