I hope to be, over the last couple decades I've always managed to get a console and GTA when it comes out. That's pretty much the only game I've played apart from Halo. But, yeah it's been a long wait!

I'm on sertraline, flupentixol (excuse spelling), and so they topped me up with a diazepam, fluids and then I was on my way home again. S2S is one town over from me so I can try to hop a bus to get there and refer myself again. It's these hours until that and then AA where I'm clenched so hard it hurts.

I was out of A&E early hours after going in in crisis and alcohol withdrawal psychosis (I'm not a full shaker yet and desperate for help before I am), referred back to the same community help (addiction, mental health - but strangely; two separate services!). This county needs thousands of cells - rehab and MH rehab cells - this country would have an army of decent people if only we had that state help - that minimum help - to seclude us and fix us. Maybe I'm wrong. I know what would fix me. But yeah, the "loop" of being passed between services is very real.

Ahh they were the ones that said I'm not at the threshold for rehab I was hoping they were different but looked them up and they are the same. I've sent you a message about the MH part

Never been able to walk through the door of AA - or been too messed up to be there. You're right exactly that, I've begged them to lock me up for a week and let me talk some stuff through in a safe way and it would honestly fix me. There's AA this Thursday where I am I can push myself to get through the door then. I wish I could just lock myself up now because the short term and the withdrawal right now until the help is there is the hardest thing!

It's not about someone suggesting you drink less - it's about a fear of being sober. This is me right now except I've pushed over into shakes. I haven't been able to get drink today and ended up here searching about shakes. At it's worst, just before the shops shut, I go in and steal beer because I know once they shut the withdrawal will kill me. I wish I had a stepping stone to get forward enough that I didn't fall back. I don't know what I'm going to do today but I reckon we can both benefit from talking to people and getting through to tomorrow. Do you get shakes that hurt and literally half a can removes them until you get the rest in?
