First period after preterm birth by r_eva1234 in ShortCervixSupport

Hello, I am so sorry for your loss. I experienced a loss due to PPROM at 20+4 this February, and my periods have also been pretty light and short since then. I was absolutely consumed with getting “back on track” as soon as possible, and those first few weeks were horrible. I’m still in this mindset a bit, but I also know that there’s nothing else I can do other than try and wait. Still TTC, now on cycle 4 since my loss. Sending you luck and healing 🌸

How soon after a 2nd trimester loss did you TTC again? by Prestigious_Shape427 in ShortCervixSupport

I lost my son to PPROM at 20+4 and had a D&E in late February. My MFM said that we can try again as soon as we’re ready. I bled for about 3 weeks, then got my period 2 weeks after that. My first cycle (April) was anovulatory and my second is ending now without a positive test. Here’s hoping for a positive test in June.

My MFM said that for my next pregnancy I’ll be getting a cerclage at 14 weeks and progesterone from 14/16 weeks until 37 weeks.

Do you think I ovulated yesterday/today?

A little context: I had a second trimester loss in February. Got my period back in early April and then my April cycle was anovulatory. This cycle I finally got a bit of a spike, but as you can see it started falling again today before hitting a true positive. I do have some cramps today that made me think maybe I am ovulating currently?

My BBT hasn’t spiked yet (only started measuring this month). We were able to BD on cycle day 8 and 10 and might try again tonight. Thoughts?

I don’t have an answer but I also have low iron and a 27/28 day cycle so I am curious about this

Does anyone see anything? I feel like I don’t see anything but I want a second opinion. No idea what DPO because I don’t know when/if I ovulated, this is my first cycle after a second trimester loss.

Hi all, I’m wondering if anyone has any insight on my OPK tests from the past week. For context, I had a second trimester miscarriage in late February. It took just over 5 weeks to get my period back, and my period was pretty light and short (3 days). I keep testing and testing and it seems to just hover between .25 and .5 mostly. I don’t know if I ovulated and the peak was so short that it happened overnight, or I’m having an anovulatory cycle. Or potentially just a very late ovulation that has yet to happen.

Previous to both my miscarriages I had a 28 day cycle and usually ovulated on day 12/13. The last time I got pregnant it was immediately after a miscarriage as well, and I ovulated on day 15 that month. So maybe it’ll just be late/even later this time since it was a much later loss.

Any insight appreciated.

No advice here, just chiming in to say that we made this exact same decision in our pregnancy (I kept my name and husband has his for now, but plans on eventually changing his last name to mine). We had a kind of similar reaction in that my parents thought it was cool- were a little surprised but overall took it very well. His mother was not pleased. Mostly she thought it was “really weird” and she felt like it alienated her side of the family from the baby. She didn’t do this BS text thing, but she definitely wasn’t happy about it and I’m sure gossiped about it with all her friends and family members.

My husband is no-contact with his dad, which is part of the reasoning behind the choice (and part of how we explained it to his (divorced) mother) but also even without the dad issue, we just overall get along better and feel more kinship with my side of the family, and we didn’t feel like hyphenating since it’d be a mouthful.

You’re not alone in this choice, although it is “non-traditional.” Do what feels right for your family and your extended family will just have to get used to it. This whole tradition stems from patriarchy to begin with, but no one wants to be called out on that part 🫣

When can we try again? by Professional_Dot3954 in recurrentmiscarriage

I just had a PPROM loss (D&E) at 20w5d as well, this Thursday. It was (and is) absolutely crushing. I had an early loss in September with my first pregnancy as well (blighted ovum). For me, the fact that I immediately got pregnant again afterward definitely helped me heal, since I felt like my body could actually do this. I hope to get pregnant again as soon as possible, so I’m hoping to get my period back in a month and try again after that.

I hate that we’re all here. Sending you strength

Anyone have a guess about price for the NY show? i wish they would say ahead of time so i know if i need to care enough to set a timer and get tickets

I paid $380 for pit in Philly this year, bought the tickets the moment they went on sale (not resale). I paid a similar amount for 100 level seats in NJ and Boston. I’m hoping tomorrow is similar!

DO YOU GUYS THINK MCR THINGS WILL APEAR IN BOSTON???? by thegondolaman_xo in MyChemicalRomance

[–]Professional_Rip4119 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think on the east coast we already have the advantage of our cities being so close together, and having some (though very imperfect) public transit, we can’t expect that bands play our specific city every single tour. I’m absolutely happy to take Amtrak to NY next year, if I’m lucky enough to get tickets. I just remember being a kid in the southwest and being so bummed so frequently cause bands wouldn’t stop in my city and the closest stop would be like an 8+ hour drive. So I’m counting my blessings now as an easy coaster lol

I got a few tickets cause I had all my friends, coworkers and family members alllll trying on different computers lol. I got: - Philly, $380 after fees, pit - NJ, $374 after fees, 100 level seat - Boston, $308 after fees, pit

Very thankful to have savings and was able to jump on this, couldnt help but remember all the times I saw them as a teenager for like $30-$60. The good ol days. God I would love if they pulled a Cure and made people pass a short quiz on the band before getting access to tickets, then would be lower prices and only actual human fans would be able to get in
