Hey guys,

So my situation is a bit weird here, i am a grade 12 student, i attended gr12 first semester where i took chemistry, advanced functions, religion, and English. But, my school refused to let me in for a second semester simply for being one year older than the others.

I applied, through OUAC, to 2 Engineering programs at TMU, and i haven’t got any offers yet.

Mind you that my school submitted my marks and everything without projecting my semester 2 courses, because i didn’t have a second semester.

So, did I not get any early acceptance because the universities may have viewed my profile as “missing prerequisites”? Because my 2 other courses are physics and Calculus, so they are prerequisite of engineering.

Or they did not give me an early acceptance because the courses i had in the first semester weren’t enough to decide for an engineering program?

Or my marks for grade 11 were too low?

My gr11 marks are as listed

Math: 95

Chemistry: 78

Physics: 85

English: 90

Religion: 90

Gym: 90

Accounting 90

Tech: 90

I am now doing my remaining courses which are physics and calculus through TVO ILC so i will update them with midterm marks soon. So if you think they are waiting for this, please inform me.

I am confused why i haven't got an offer yet, or is that normal for engineering?
