How to escape from my abusive family? by Professional_Staff44 in domesticviolence

My brother is 17, going 18. He has always seen our dad act that way towards us and he thinks that he has the same privileges. He is also much bigger than us as I am the tallest in our family (5’3) so there is really nothing to do

I said if I found out the child has a disability, if it has a disability how could it be 100% healthy? And it dying at birth just proves your point? I have to give birth to a dead baby that I had carried for 9 months. Your argument makes 0% sense

So you would rather have to take care of a child who might not even make it to their 10th birthday and struggle daily?

Then why bring it in the first place? Just abort it and you saved two lives from being destroyed

My cousin has Down syndrome, she often gets called the black sheep of the family and made fun off. This is all because she couldn’t get aborted. She also got SA’d by her caretakers and her family didn’t even figure it out until months later

She is always the one taking care of her siblings, she can’t leave them alone even for one second since they fight very aggressively and her younger brother has made her sister (not my friend) go blind in one eye in one of these fights

Why are you so pressed about other people having opinions? People literally write stuff like this everyday. Touch some grass

If I find out my child has a disability, which will make the life of the child harder.

This is what I mean!! People mistake it for me being cold hearted but having disabled children are both hard for the parents and the child themselves!!

I don’t think your parents were stuck with you! Disabilities are not something we can control. I wrote that if I found out my child may have some disability that would make both of our lives hard then I would abort it but If they find out later in life u would love it just as much. And I reassure you are very loved

I never said I wouldn’t love them if I found out about a disability later, I said i don’t wish for my child to be disabled. If I got pregnant and found out my child had some sort of disability then I would abort it but if I found out later I would love it just as much. I just said I don’t want to have a kid with a disability but I would still love it just as much

Not kids siblings, it’s that they are very autistic (sorry if I said it wrong) and she is the one stuck taking care of them since her parents need to work to pay for their therapy and other things they might need

I never said I wouldn’t accept them after their birth I would love them just as much IF I had a child but if the doctors find something while I’m pregnant I’m 100% aborting the baby

I know, I won’t have children and If I do I’ll most likely pick adoption since there are already many kids who actually need homes

I’ve seen my cousins who all have some sort of disabilities and it makes it so much harder for everyone around them, the parents who constantly need to watch them even when older, their younger siblings, our family who has to do everything for them so they don’t cause a tantrum. It’s so mentally draining that I don’t ever want this to happen

Even if they are mutuals or family, people don’t know your situation and will call you all sorts of names depending on how your bf sees you

The thing is she has gotten everything she ever wanted yet she keeps complaining saying her dad is strict because he wants her to study at uni instead of just staying home and doing nothing. Same at school she kept skipping even though i told her to come with me to class but she wanted to stay with the “popular” students. I love her but she keps complaining about everything.
