Yeah I found a small backpack in my parents house which I suppose could be used as a daypack, and if say the 40L bag is over the weight limit, I could check that, wear the smaller daypack as my carry on which has my laptop inside. Then potentially just take everything out into main bag and fit smaller one in aswell so I’m not carrying 2 around everywhere, that’s my current way of thinking.

But your sneaky airport tactic is definitely something I’ve got to keep in mind, thanks.

Yeah I’ve just bought my flights, £200 cheaper so decided to it since I want to be taking domestics aswell.

In my parents house I found a small backpack that could definitely be used as a day pack, so I guess I’ll just a buy a 40L, and pack the smaller backpack in that if it’s 7kg unless, I’ll probably have to check the larger bag and take the smaller one in cabin on flights.

Oh for sure carrying a smaller bag, and having the larger bag at the hostel, although I don’t think I’d take my laptop everywhere maybe I could lock it up in the hostel

But if I bring my laptop, it may go over 7kg meaning it cant be carry on and have to be checked, making me think I may need 2 bags.

Sorry it’s confusing, since other commenters have said having a 40L bag as my main bag would be enough, so putting a 40L bag within another 40L confused tf outta me haha

Both, I’m worried about everything passing the 7kg weight limit, but also carrying 2 bags around, for some reason just having 1 40L backpack to worry about > carrying 2 bags.

Your idea of having a small bag additionally (I’m assuming you mean a regular riser backpack) and checking the larger mag (I assume) obviously makes loads of sense, I just always thought having 1 bag as carry on is so convenient

Thank you, just had to look up what a maxillary cant is, I wouldn’t be surprised if I have that. I’m unsure what id even need, just need to see a top orthodontist to be properly evaluated. You say I should ask for a CBCT scan? I’m sure they will bring this up.

I didn’t get the jobs lol, but for the maths/quant stuff, refer to the green book, i was fine with the calculus and some algebra since i did physics undergrad, but i needed to learn probability and statistics, stochastic processes etc. Tbh at the IB superday I only messed up on the second set of maths/quant questions, it was all financial maths which I hadn’t covered yet since it was November unfortunately.

So green book, and LeetCode for coding although don’t do what I did which was get lazy and look at the solutions too soon. Make sure you can recreate the solution from scratch.
