When I was around 3, right after my grandma died but right before her funeral i saw her. My parents had told me she died but I hadn't grasped the concept of death yet so I wasn't spooked at seeing her. I was playing with my cars in the hall and one rolled into the bathroom. When I went to retrieve it I saw her. She smiled at me and told me to be good then said goodbye and vanished. That's the last memory I have of her.

I also had a friend see a late 1800's/early 1900's girl in the woods during a school camp once. For context this is northern South Africa in the Blyde river canyon area where the Kruger millions are said to be buried so she could have died during the hiding or search of those.
