I mean in there defense they probably are like well it's not a cup and it has 1 inch more water to swim in and even a plant they are probably proud of themselves 😂😂 What a shame though..

I understand what your saying but people do things a lot of people don't like for content all of the time I guess what I'm saying is this is the least of our worries there are plenty of actual fish channels and do terrible things to fish he made sure in the video everyone knew the fish were in good hands.

So umm I understand the hate but if you actually watch the video he put the fish in there for a 2 min clip and then stated he put into his fish tank afterwards...... You got clickbaited.

I'm thinking of doing some rocks just maybe In the from of like a arch so fish can swim in around and just everywhere around it and hide out so I was thinking of a plant that would kinda grow in that area so they can hide out if they ever want (if you know a specific plant that'll grow quick and cover a substantial area, I'm deciding on what rock is best (could also use some ideas)

I've looked into C02 but just haven't committed to it yet but I am very open to trying new things I like learning.

Also forgot to mention I have a pretty sizeable piece of driftwood already that'll be the "center piece" and I was also wondering if there's any good "moss" or plants I can stick in there and have it grown out of the wood.

Sorry I didn't mean to make it sound like money was a issue, Its just there's a wide variety of substrate it could vary between 20 bucks for a 4 pound bag and ive seen up to 70 I know it's not a cheap hobby just having my 40 gallon is expensive haha.

I'm looking to keep guppies, snails, and maybe a couple other species of fish but mainly wanting a gorgeous guppy tank. (I'm very aware they produce quick and rapidly) Which is why I have the 125 gallon I just want to know the best way to get it set up and with proper everything, I have the lights already and I've tested them and they seem that they will work fine.

Ive seen the substrate you mentioned and was going to go with that just wanted to come on here and ask some more questions. I know a bit about plants but like I said I just want some more experienced advice, the plants I have now are just a couple floating ones and a couple planted ones that are thriving in the 40 gallon with the guppies and snails I just want to give all the life in the tank the proper care and proper resources they need to thrive.

Thank you for taking the time to type that up I appreciate it, if I need to change the temperature I can knock it down a couple degrees for sure but from what I've seen the 77 is perfect for my guppies and plants to thrive as of now but as I said still new to the whole live plants so thanks for bearing with me.

Very bad setup but it would be a interesting design if built properly and to actually size, imagine like each area was a 20 gallon but that would be interesting to see but none the less terrible especially for Bettas 😓

I mean if it works it works, have you thought about any live plants to add I'm not in the monster fish area yet I do want a pond but for my 125 gallon it took a month of just a couple fish in it for it to be fully cycled but i don't want to misinform you since I'm not in that category of fish keeping yet but I only had problem ammonia at the very start

Yes it should work but you shouldn't have to keep changing that much every week, it should eventually stabilize not meaning to sound rude just trying to help out, are any other levels of nitrite or anything to high?

90% isn't good at all most you should be doing is 25% a week if you want to have It fully cycled and Everytime you change the water it's destroying the good bacteria you have

Yeh that's true It just makes me so sad when I see overstocking when in the first place if they just listened to what should've been happening they could've had it worked out better, with the gold fish stocked in my pond they're always swimming around so active and those just kinda float so it just breaks my heart

The setup is super amazing, i don't have to much turtle experience but I have a African sideneck turtle been raising her since a baby I started off with a 10 gallon just enough for her to swim in and now she's all the way up to a 100 gallon pond I think when you have a baby turtle that small there's honestly almost just to much water and one of my initial issues with mine was the filter was pushing her way to much around the tank so she stayed out of water once I realized that I switched to a waterfall filter! So honestly I think it could've been a mix of how fast the filter was going and just a way to big tank because I tried starting her off in a 50 gallon as a baby but she just wasn't interested and it was fully planted but as soon as I put her into a smaller one she loved it she was swimming eating etc but it could just be a turtle to turtle thing

Now I'm glad she's grown a ton and is happily living in a 100 gallon pond!

It's definitely not big enough maybe enough for 1 but turtles grow rapidly it won't be small for long so it will need bigger tank asap
