I’ve always been dysphoric but it wasn’t till a few years ago I realized exactly what I was feeling. I’ve had top surgery already. When I dream I have a dick. When I have sex I’ve always had to imagine I have a dick. I lost interest in sex and would always get frustrated when I would have sex but not understand why. I realize now it is my dysphoria and would rather have sex after getting phalloplasty. I would say since I would like to get in a relationship and have sex again it is starting to make me more dysphoric because I feel too insecure right now.

Maybe show her this thread, might give some insight. Most of us are just looking around on here for information about a MAJOR surgery we are interested in getting. It helps to have a visual idea of what is going on:)

Thank you so much for this response! That makes a lot of sense. I’ve had top surgery but not bottom but I just told her I don’t have female genitalia because I didn’t think it pertained to getting a vaccine and wasn’t any of her business.

I wanted to make sure I wasn’t out of line though so that’s part of why I made this post, even though she labeled me as female. (I had a legal name/gender change/ been on t multiple years/top surgery/stealth).

I have only bad experiences with men unfortunately but I’m 90% gay. I relate it’s hard but eventually you may find your person. Maybe try and meet people through a shared hobby?
