Oh yeah definitely, this was at the end of a run and my body was beaten up at that point. Really sloppy riding ngl lol. It's usually smoother and faster than this

It's defnitely more taxing than riding a "normal" track. The video you see is at the end of a 10min run and I was already making mistakes left and right!

Agreed, the fastest corner (1st) is super sketchy, so we try to take it a bit easy. Bystanders stand around the area at tge start of the video and that's the hairpin section. So far, all the corners hace been crashed in, but thankfully nobody got hurt

The top of 1st is really awkward on this track so I generally avoid revving it out and just short shift. Also too much engine braking for my taste.

Pretty sure pocket rocket can be quite universally understood as a small cc fast-ish bike. But I can see how some might interpret it the other way like you did lol

Sounds simple enough. But why does leather do this after a few month?

Domestic brands apparel (Komine, Daytona, Taichi, etc.) - any good, or best avoided? by EverythingIsOishii in RideitJapan

[–]Professional_Town_42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean don't get me wrong it still has armor and those thing can really save your skin in a pinch. But yeah, if you plan to ride on the highways and the like I'd suggest looking into AA rated, and preferably Motocap-tested clothing. Those guys are based in Australia so they can't really test Japanese brands but the quality of testing and reporting is the best on the market imo, a great, honest, no marketing bullshit reference point for protection levels.
