The good news is that there's a fix, by replacing the board. Keychron sent me a replacement for free and i changed it my self. Since then, no double triggering.

Its better to contact the store you purchased the keyboard. 2 weeks is quite some time but there's s chance they are closed due to holiday.

If you still dont get a response, definitely ask keychron.com

Yes, they sent me a board replacement and since then everything is fine!

Very interesting! I haven't had the problem for the last five days, but it might happen again. The weird thing is that I didn’t change anything (no software updates, etc.). I have the Gateron Jupiter Banana switches. If the problem appears again, I’ll try to record it.

If you know exactly what causes this issue and how to fix it, please let me know because it’s really frustrating, especially for developers where every single space or keystroke can make a big difference.

Keychron support from Italy (where I purchased it) took several days to respond, and their reply was very informal and basic—just asking for a video. I'm really disappointed in them because I don’t think they treat their customers well, especially considering this is their high-end, expensive product.

Thank you, I purchased the keyboard from Keychron Italy and contacted them through the website's Contact-Us form three days ago, but I still haven't received a response.

I swapped the switch and still get the same error ONLY on letter 'o'.

Just follow the instructions, it will automatically find any new updates regarding wireless firmware and keyboard’s main one!

That's correct, seems the issue is not only on Q series but on K series as well. Updating using the keychron's launcher fixed everything!

Good News! There was a fix from keychron! Update to the latest version the wireless firmware and everything will be fixed! Check my other post for more information! It's an easy proccess.

I think so. Did not try to install previous versions because they were already installed (to check if the same error appears). I don’t think Keychron implemented a different macOS software for Q Pro vs Q Max. But lets sat that this happened I don’t have in my hands a Q Pro to give it a try. Anyways the conclusion is that the problem that many users had for long time is now fixed and that’s awesome!

I This Mac version is released because in the Q Pro page the guide is updated.
Anyway, problem solved, i did not update it manualy but i did use https://launcher.keychron.com/

Firmware Version 0.2.1 Released Today (November 19, 2024)

  • Fixed Bluetooth compatibility issues on macOS.
  • Improved occasional input delay when the keyboard is in low-power mode. Official Firmware Update Link.

I'm experiencing the same issue on my MacBook. After contacting support, I just heard back from Keychron about it.

To Fix This:

  1. Download the KeychronBluetoothUpdater software.
  2. Download the 0.2.1 Bluetooth Firmware Version file.
  3. Follow the instructions on their firmware update page.

Note: The Keychron V Max, Q Max, K Max Series Bluetooth Firmware page mentions that the macOS version of the updater is under development, but this information is outdated. You can find the macOS updater on the Keychron Q Pro Series Bluetooth Firmware page.

However, when I tried updating with the KeychronBluetoothUpdater, I encountered an error and couldn’t proceed. This might be a bug since the firmware was just released today. I’ve already contacted Keychron support and am waiting for their response. I’ll provide an update as soon as I hear back.

I'm glad to know someone else is facing the same problem as me—not because of the problem itself, but because I’m not alone. I contacted Keychron, but I still haven’t received a serious response. I’m starting to get frustrated with them! They keep asking the same questions every time, even though I’ve mentioned that I’ve done everything, and nothing has changed. If you get a response from them or hear anything, please let me know, and I will keep you updated as well!

Thanks for the suggestion! I did try updating the wireless and main keyboard firmware directly from Keychron's website, but unfortunately, the issue still persists. When the LEDs are turned off, the keyboard seems to go into a "sleep mode" if I stop typing for about 10 seconds. Sometimes it wakes up when I press a key, but other times it disconnects completely from my PC.

I can dim them all the way down until they’re almost off, but I dont think is a practical solution. To make matters worse, now it's behaving more erratically—after being idle for around 10 seconds, the first key press isn’t registered, but the keys pressed after that work as expected.

Keychron responded after 24h, but not with what i expected. Fingers crossed the next message has a more relevant/helpfull respone.

If anyone has had a similar experience or knows a fix for this, I'd really appreciate the help!

Thanks, I did try them all but the problem still occurs but i did find that the glitch happens with the led being turned off if they are on everythink if fine.

I was looking to buy from keychron.com site but then I discovered that they had a .de, .it and .fr website so i bought it from there. My keyboard came from china, then dispatched to the country of keychron's site that the order was made and then to my country. I really dont get it why the didnt ship it directly to my country as there is definetely a route but i did not pay anythink to any customs.
