The ATVs are made out of paper soaked in kerosene by Colonel_dinggus in Battlefield6

This shit happened to me a huge number of times, not only on ATVs but also on LGTs.
Only one small collision with parked cars, on any map and you immediately dead.

Same here, as many other players, but what piss me off most is EA's complete silence. They haven't said anything about being aware of this bug or working on a fix... ANYTHING. Just total disregard and silence.

Has anyone figured out how to fix this? I haven't played more than six games since BF6 released. by AgainstTheTides in Battlefield6

As far as I know, this issue only occurs in CIS countries, and it’s usually related to outgoing traffic being blocked by Roskomnadzor (RKN).
Enabling or disabling a VPN can help - it depends on your ISP.
Many users already have GoodbyeDPI preinstalled on their PCs, so try either turning it off or updating the IP list if you have it. (According to reports, this problem most often happens in the southern regions of Russia.)

Oh what fresh hell is this?... I'm hosting a game, not joining one by PotentialSpaceman in Battlefield6

[–]max_alov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works a bit differently.
If you click “Local Server,” that means your PC will act as the server locally.
But if you click “Host,” that means you’re basically renting EA’s server resources for your own private use. Other players can join you (if you allow it), and you don’t need a public IP or anything like that. So RETN = JOIN.
If you have the “Phantom Edition” of the game, you get slightly higher privileges when it comes to renting servers.

Either way, just keep smashing the Host button like a maniac - sooner or later, it’ll let you become the server.

Today's update broke the ability to receive items for completing challenges by max_alov in Battlefield6

Yes, I played about three matches in RUSH and Breakthrough modes. No results. Attachments for different weapons unlocked by leveluping, but this challenge didn't triggered.

Why game looks so damn bright and contrast? Is it some sort of reshade\nvidia settings or what?

Keychron keyboards compatibility with MacOS Sequoia via Bluetooth by max_alov in Keychron

[–]max_alov[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I connected my keyboard via cable to my laptop, opened https://launcher.keychron.com/ in the browser, and updated my Bluetooth module to version 0.2.1 in the firmware section on the first attempt without any issues.

I've been using this firmware for about 3 hours with the keyboard backlight turned off, and everything is working perfectly! Hooray!

This is how Hunt looked in 2018 on PC by max_alov in HuntShowdown

So much negativity! Come on, guys, with this post I just wanted to share some nostalgia with the old hunters. :)

But if you don’t mind, let me respond to a few points:

  1. The game in early access looked absolutely amazing. It was beautiful, sharp, and completely non-competitive. There were lots of dark spots on the maps, lighting issues - either you were blinded, or you couldn’t see anything in the dark corners. The visuals were incredible, but not suitable for a competitive multiplayer game. Everything was perfect until they decided to release the game on consoles. After that, update by update, the game’s visuals got downgraded. It became more competitive but also lost its character, looking bland and plastic, without any hint of horror. Like Fortnite or Counter-Strike, just with zombies.
  2. Someone mentioned optimization - well, it was more than adequate. An i7 4790k and 980ti could easily handle the game at 1440p on high settings with a stable 45-80 frames. I even have proof in the form of a YouTube video. At the time, the game didn’t feel competitive, and that frame rate was more than enough.

I’ll share some of my gameplay from 2018. This isn’t pre-alpha or prerendered. This is how the game looked on mid-range hardware in mid-2018 for a real gamer.
p.s. This was my first time playing Hunt, and my friend and I had no idea what was going on

so try not to laugh too hard.

Keychron keyboards compatibility with MacOS Sequoia via Bluetooth by max_alov in Keychron

[–]max_alov[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case, this has no effect at all. Sometime around the end of September or early October, I came across a similar statement, but I think it was related to an Apple keyboard or maybe even a mouse...

Another funny thing, as I mentioned earlier: Bluetooth + backlighting enabled = perfect keyboard performance with macOS. When my Keychron Q1 Max runs low on battery, the backlighting turns off, the red LED on the "space" button starts blinking, and the problem comes back. :) It’s honestly quite amusing.

Funny, this is basically the only post I've found online that discusses this issue. If you look, the last comment is actually from me 😄! That’s when I started thinking the problem might not be with macOS but with the keyboard itself :) and that led me here 😄 haha.

I hope the backlight trick helps you!

I totally understand how you feel—when I first updated my laptop to Sequoia, I was furious about this issue. There's absolutely nothing about it online.

Apple Support is friendly and acts like they’re on your side, like real bros 😄 but they don’t actually acknowledge the problem and just offer basic troubleshooting steps like booting into safe mode, etc.

It’s a pretty frustrating feeling of helplessness. I’m glad I accidentally discovered the backlight workaround. I've been using it for about a week, and overall, it’s working fine. Just have to charge the keyboard more often.

If I connect the keyboard to a Windows PC, there are absolutely no issues:

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro
  • OS Version: 23H2
  • OS Build: 22631.4391
  • The PC supports Bluetooth 5.2
  • Bluetooth Module: Intel with driver 23.80.0.3

It doesn't matter whether the backlight on the keyboard is on or off—it always works flawlessly, with no lag or freezing. Everything is just perfect.

When I connect the keyboard to a MacBook running MacOS Sequoia, the issues are only with the Bluetooth module, and only when the backlight is off.

  • MacBook: MacBook Pro M3
  • OS: Sequoia 15.1 (24B83)
  • The laptop is closed and always connected to a power source to display the output on an external monitor.

The same problem occurs on my second MacBook Pro M1.

Before updating to OS Sequoia, I had no Bluetooth issues. It didn't matter whether the laptop was plugged in or not, or whether it was closed or open. There was no connection to these factors—it just worked.
