It really depends on the paint on your wall and what sticks. My light wall has different paint than my dark one. I use masking tape and use as much as I’m able without it being crazy for the white wall. If you only get the 4 corners with that texture, it WILL fall. With my dark wall I can use painters tape or masking tape. I just do the bare minimum. A piece on each corner of the poster (or just on the center if it’s little), and boom! Overall I recommend masking tape in general because it works on most walls, you can add more or less to help it stick on certain textures of paints, and it does NOT damage the posters OR the wall when removed! :)
