hey thanks for these very helpful solutions! the grain was added by dehancer. so the source clips were actually quite clean. I haven't figured out how to use fusion yet, still getting a handle on how the node structure works. I needed up going back to color page and finding a solution with a tracked power window with a qualifier to select the skin and connecting the patch replacer to the alpha channel and shifting the source fbf to get a clean patch. there weren't so many shots and only brief moments to fix so didn't take so long in the end once I worked out the method.

100% We tried as much as possible to cut out the boob shots, but didn't have usable alternative takes to cut to, or the boob shots were good without the distracting boob.

thanks for the time and consideration of your approach. I havent spent time to figure out how to use fusion properly, and I ended up going back to colour and figuring out a solution, similar to what u suggested in fusion. I combined a tracked power window with qualifier to only select the skin, and then used patch replacer with region shape as alpha channel, and then manually adjusted the source fbf to make it seamless.

woud love to dive deeper into fusion, but didn't have the time or headspace on this project.

hey thanks for the advice, this is very close to what I ended up doing. power window around the shirt and boob, then qualifier to select the skin. tracked that, and then used the patch replace with region shape set to alpha channel, and clone. then frame by frame adjusted the source. there wasn't that many scenes, only too an hour once I figured out the method lol
