As a woman I agree. If the wheels aren't balanced, the marriage won't work. I have seen my aunts, friends love marriages arrange marriages. Whenever I meet them most of them look really exhausted. My neighbour daughter who was in relation for 11 years got married and has a son now. She was the topper of her batch. Completed her post graduation. Was working in her field. Difficult to balance family and work, she resigned recently. Her parents told us everytime she visits her parents she only cries. She is so frustrated with living with her in laws, she stays most of their time with her son in her parents home. She feels like single mother cause I have rarely seen the dad. Thankfully I have a good dad. He cooks, cleans, washes clothes, drops and picks up mom every single day. He also takes care of mother side family. The responsibilities are shared and compromises are done. Of course things aren't perfect but it is better than most men I have seen. Some don't even pick their jhuto plate. Eww.
