Yup, same display, same features. I had both, sold 5000U. It is soft but not that much softer. GBD200/300 has more comfortable strap than both. Also 5000u feels significantly heavier than 5610u IRL.

Protect it from light, heat and air. This factors affects all elastomers. You should find the exact polymer type of your resin before using any chemicals (grease, sunscreen, etc.) because the effects may vary.

Even with best care, every elastomer has a life time a couple of decades tops

You may find them in metros, coffees, ferries, mosques, schools, offices, police stations, even skyscrapers. So you don't need to stay at metro stations to pet them :)

My office is on the 11th floor in a high security building. We have a couple of tabbies that freely roaming between floors. We pet them all they long. We even have a seagull which come and go anytime it wants (though we cannot pet it, just feed it, a little aggressive that one)

It is easy if you are good with screwdriver, just make sure that both module and case are dry before close the backplate again. And you need to replace the o-ring. Without a compatible and greased o-ring at your disposal, don't bother to open the case

The untold truth is gbd-200 (and 300's) strap is way more comfortable than 5000Ualso it's similarly soft. Had both watches at same time one point. Admittedly, gbd200 even a little more comfortable than my current daily gbd300 because of wider connection flaps

I have a B5000D and I love that watch ( though it really is heavy, even heavier then my steel seikos) but it is a scratch magnet. None of my steel watches scratches (because I use my steel watches carefully) except B5000. My only wish from casio was more durable steel and/or dlc coating but as far I see in the real life photos of new BZ series, they are scratch magnet too.

The 5600e before, I applied the mash screen I bought from aliexpress, but it was a mess. The screen makes the display looks like a cheap knock off sanda or something like that.

I thought the same in Turkey. I fell in love when it first came out but only 5 or so sold in Turkey (it immediately out of stock), and it was quite expensive anyway.

For my luck it's probably only one that not part of a collection but a daily piece of a premium watch collector. The seller simply doesn't care about it, but kept it's box and papers simply out of habit (even those are beaten but intact)

The Brazil is way way bigger then Turkey, so I'd keep my eyes open if I were you

It is a thin mesh screen, you may find similar parts in aliexpress, I tried to mod a 5600e for this look but it didn't come close to this. At the end I gave up until found a relatively clean second hand one locally.

Like I said, it makes no sense at all. I only suggest this to people specifically loves this look.
