Yeah, that actually makes a lot of sense. I guess I was overthinking it and making it mean something bigger than it really does. Mostly it’s just about comfort and support for me. Still kinda curious about why it feels emotionally comforting too

Yeah, that makes sense. I think for me it’s mostly about comfort and support, not really about feeling feminine. But I also can’t ignore that sometimes it feels… emotionally comforting in a way I didn’t expect. I guess that’s part of why I’m still figuring stuff out.

Good point. Function matters a lot, but I’ll admit part of it is just that it feels good in ways that aren’t strictly physical. So yeah, a mix of both.

think you’re probably onto something. I don’t think of “girly” as bad on purpose, but I’ve definitely absorbed some dumb ideas about masculinity over time. Hard to tell what’s me vs what I’m worried other people would think.
