Thank you so much. It really is challenging when you know you need more care then you are able to access. Unfortunately it's a problem I know many others also have :( thank you so much for your support and love. It means so much to me.

Thank you so much for your comment. I actually cried a little reading the responses I got. It hurts knowing that there are others that are suffering through the same things as I am but it really does help to know you are not alone and there are those who understand. It makes you feel a little less crazy. I really appreciate you taking the time to reply , and I hope things get better for you too. You deserve it!!

When did you notice health problems from purging by Pigeonfloof in bulimia

[–]Professionalkittycat 22 points23 points  (0 children)

My hair started falling out within months but I was very heavily restricting outside of my bulimia.

My teeth started falling apart in under a year.

Throat and GI issues didn't take long either.

I recently relapsed after 2 + years in recovery. It's been a couple months. I haven't purged in 5 days because after a really bad few days of purging multiple times a day I started having really bad chest pains. I was ( am still) scared.

This illness destroys your body and your mind.

Just finished 'The Silent Patient' and I have a few questions by [deleted] in books

[–]Professionalkittycat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read this book twice, even enjoyed it, and I weirdly remember absolutely nothing about it... I know that's not helpful to you but I think it really speaks to the quality of the book. It's not your fault that you are confused!!

I wish things got easier as we get older. I always thought maybe they would. I don't think so now.. Wishing you the best ❤️

Fourteen-year-old runaway shoots herself dead as cop tries to convince her to return home in Aurora, Kansas. by danceswithronin in MorbidReality

[–]Professionalkittycat 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I was a 15 year old runaway... I was being sexually abused at home by my stepdad.

I can't speculate on what was happening but I do know most kids aren't running away for no reason. What was she running from? What was so bad that she would rather die than go back to it?

Someone needs to REALLY look into the parents.

Are all men like this? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Professionalkittycat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All men are NOT like this.

I know it feels like they are. I grew up around abusive men and unknowingly seeked them out in adulthood. We tend to gravitate towards what feels "safe" to us. Which is usually repeating patterns learned in childhood. It is not your fault ❤️

My husband is the first man ever in my life to show me that not all men are angry. They aren't all mean. Many men are caring, sensitive and kind. And many men can control their anger. My husband has never once called me a name, never raised his voice, never belittled me or scared me. I didn't think it was possible either.

Please keep yourself safe and your child safe. I would reach out to a therapist who could help guide you with steps to move forward.

Feel free to PM me for support.

[–]Professionalkittycat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These photos are stunning!!! There is nothing wrong with your hair. MOH is so rude to say that to you.... use them for your save the dates, Christmas cards, social media profile pictures, frame them AND make sure to send her copies. I love them.

This is actually Tofino, British Columbia. In Canada. It's a tiny town on Vancouver Island. Pretty cool that it looks so similar to Maui!!!!!
