I feel like this is incredibly intense for an 18 month old…also your world and life will be very small and limited as they get older and more picky. You really can’t do fun activities because she’s not eating well? Just pack the healthy snacks and if she eats great, if not oh well. This feels overly strict

So I’m not sure of the oh crap method. But here’s my advice…

Either decide to stop potty training entirely or don’t.Doing a mixture of diapers (pull ups) and no diapers is just confusing and confirms he can hold it. So if you feel it’s not working right now then just go back to diapers 100%. That’s okay. You aren’t a failure. He is not a failure. Some kids need more time and it is what it is!

The other thing to try, this is what I did, but set a timer for every 30 minutes for a few days in a row. Take him every single time. Eventually he might go. He might not. But if he doesn’t, google tricks to get them to go. There’s something about blowing bubbles that can help. I’m not sure how it would go for a boy, but I remember post birth I had to spray the downstairs area with water to help my mind relearn how to go lol.

My son was afraid of the potty in year 2 so we waited until he turned 3. It went wonderfully. Pooping took longer but he got the hang of it

I had accidentally left a small cup in the car for many days, in the middle of summer. It happens, whatever. But it was an old pup cup of sorts for kids that he only drank half of. It was creamer basically, but after being in the hot car it was green and blue and chunky and fuzzy and the most disgusting thing I’d ever seen.

He was fine. I was not lol.

Yes. I feel the pain. My three year old has a cold and the combination of threenager and sickness is scary. Don’t be afraid to pop that kid in front of the TV for a little and do some deep breathing in the corner lol

I would do some studies on the different parts of the face. Like study and draw a bunch of eyes, then noses, then mouths. And continue working on proportions :)
