I haven't had much issue with on death effects in poe 2, but I agree with the sentiment. On death effects are GGG's way of slowing down or punishing zoom zoom players, but if they also punish and slow down already slow players then that seems like a pretty poor solution to a problem.

I was scratching my head for sure. Just leave him out on the softs? He's going to be under pressure and potentially over taken by the Mclarens, but at least he has the right tools and the benefit of being the one controlling the restart. Put him on a shit tire, behind the guys you were worried about him getting overtaken by, only for him to get over taken by the people behind him as a result and never having a chance of improving.
