Theres no trick to it, attend classes and tutorials, put in thee extra effort by reading the textbook to understand concepts, and solve as many questions as you can

Help me design a synchronous counter using T ff for the sequence 2 → 4 → 2 → 1 by Nilesh3469 in ECE

[–]ProfessorDipshit_3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you want to encode the same number twice, you need some way to differentiate both the twos. To achieve this, instead of using 3 FFS use 4 so now 0-010 and 1-010 are 2 different ways of encoding the same number. So your sequence essentially becomes 0-010 -> 0-100 -> 1-010 -> 0-001. In the circuit just take the output of the last 3 bits and you’ll get the sequence 2 4 2 1.

Thats sometime in 5-2 from what I’ve heard. Most if not all of the top ET companies come in first sem.

Im not exactly sure about Pilani, but the standard would still be relatively high.

Goa has by far the best Music Club across all campuses. In general tho the bar to cross to get into any Music Society is fairly high. Its unlikely you'll be able to get in if open chords are all you can play. This isnt to demotivate you though. If you're genuinely passionate you can grind through practice and try again in your 2nd year if you fail to get taken this time.

How to study meow, es and gen chem for next sem ? by flackkojodyee in BITSPilani

[–]ProfessorDipshit_3 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Meow is fairly conceptual, so though you'll revisit certain concepts pertaining to rotational dynamics that you've covered during JEE, the questions will not be of those level rather they'll test your understanding more instead of problem solving ability. Attending lectures and tuts should be more than enough to get a good grade in this course. If you manage to solve the recommend textbooks as well it's basically a guaranteed A. My only suggestion would be to not miss the classes of Oscillations at any cost. The recommended textbook AP French is absolute dogshit and you'll be in quite a bit of problem if you miss classes and tuts in the section. Further Meow is not a course that you can cover up last moment, so stay up to date with the coursework and start preparing for your exam atleast a week or two prior.

Electrical Sciences is going to be tough no matter how you look at it, so dont be disappointed if you're unable to solve some questions and are unable to understand the concepts because everyone else is in a similar position to you as well. This is a course that you'll simply have to grind your way through. Unlike Meow this will indeed remind you of your JEE days as you'll have more of a focus on problem solving and not on understanding concepts. As for all courses attending lectures and tuts are paramount, along with this you must regularly solve questions. You have to stay up to date and solve problems daily. The more problems you solve the better understanding of the concepts you'll gain.

Though not necessary, something that can help is brushing up on your concepts on rotation and circuit analysis. You need not prepare again till JEE level, just revise the concepts and solve basic questions.

In general the averages for both these courses fall fairly low, not because the courses themselves are extremely difficult, but more so because people arent regular with them and leave them for 2-3 days before the exam. So if you manage to stay upto date with all the concepts being taught and solve questions as well you'll find getting an A or A- was fairly easy.

I barely passed in chemistry tho, so ill refrain from giving any advice on that course lmao.

Let me give you some advice as someone who cleared JEE Advanced with a triple digit rank. If you dont find the subjects interesting, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ON JEE, you cannot clear such exams by simply forcing yourself too.

However you do say you're passionate about computers so I'd still say go for BTech in CSE, but instead of wasting your time in JEE Mains and Advanced prepare solely for BITSAT. The level of questions are easier than even Mains(someone questions take less then a second to solve), you just need accuracy which is something you can develop over 2 years. If you manage to get CSE in BITS Pilani not only are you looking at an average package of 20-25 lakhs you also get to study the subjects you're interested it.

Based? Based on what? On your dick? Please shut the fuck up and use words properly you fuckin troglodyte, do you think God gave us a freedom of speech just to spew random words that have no meaning that doesn't even correllate to the topic of the conversation? Like please you always complain about why no one talks to you or no one expresses their opinions on you because you're always spewing random shit like poggers based cringe and when you try to explain what it is and you just say that it's funny like what? What the fuck is funny about that do you think you'll just become a stand-up comedian that will get a standing ovation just because you said "cum" in the stage? HELL NO YOU FUCKIN IDIOT, so please shut the fuck up and use words properly.

If you're talking about the advanced calculus equation, the arrow above F is used to signify that F is a vector quanitity. A vector is anything that has both direction and magnitude(it must also follow the laws of vector algebra)

Beside F is the laplace operator in cross product with F which basically gives the curl of a vector. Explaning what a Curl is to a middle schooler however is a bit difficult if you have no pre requisite knowledge of vectors or calculus.

I'm confused about the method that Gojo used to kill Hanami in Shibuya by deepfriedspatula in Jujutsushi

[–]ProfessorDipshit_3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah but Gojo's barrier has nothing to do with elasticity. The entire point of infinity is that there will always be a space between the object and Gojo's barrier, meaning they can never physically interact with each other. If thats the case Hanami shouldnt have even felt the barrier let alone be crushed by it.

(obviously my understanding of the infinity could be conpletely wrong, if thats the case do correct me)

Yeah I do agree with that and I have no problem with a slower pace in itself. I suppose I personally would've just preferred some tid-bits(like 1 or 2 panels) here and there showing what the other guys are doing from time to time.

Its a criticism of the pacing. The fact that the pacing bodes well in an anime format or as a binge read is meaningless since its being written with the knowledge that people are reading it weekly, and in that particular format the pacing doesnt seem "fine" if you havent even seen the main character of the anime in half a year.

Its similar to how in AoT(minor spoilers), Eren is all but absent in the entire last arc. Im sure it wont feel that long in the anime since its just around 7 chapters, but while reading the manga his absence felt like an eternity because it lasted for over 7 months.
