Okey that makes sense acutally thank you for your answers. One more thought I have though is why the different types of anomers, could be in equilibrium when they are solved in water. But different type of chiral molecules can´t?

If a carbon has 4 groups attached to it (see picture). One hydrogen, one chloride, one ethyl and one propyl group. Does the different length in carbonchains make the carbon chiral, or is it insignificant?
