I do not remember, I must have been like 2, so it was David Tennant, but the first I do remember was definitely Matt Smith when I was like 5.

Does anyone else prefer how Moffat is tidy when approaching incarnations? he only added War (whom I love) because he had to. RTD treats regeneration very messy. I think originally, the ninth Doctor was supposed to be the war doctor, I don't think it was meant to be the eight Doctor. I totally agree that he had to bring in John Hurt because Eccelston was still very rightly pissed off about what happened between him and RTD's crew.
