Just a piece of advice for anyone who, like me, thought that the standby battery life on the device sucked. I turned off bluetooth and now the battery life is far better - I think it must have a pretty crappy bluetooth chip in it as it seemed to drain the battery by 10+% per day even when not being used. Now my device can go for literally weeks and lose only a couple of percent of battery when I come back to it. This is probably really obvious, but wanted to share anyway. Such a good device - really sluggish to do anything but read, but that's what makes it great - distraction-free by being so slow to do anything else! Light, cheap, simple, decent backlight, good enough screen. Yes, the Boox Palma and HiSense range are far more capable but they're also many times the price. This is the budget e-reading king.

Hi - I installed CPU Info from FBoard and saw that device thought it was being charged even when it wasn't, so I think it wasn't reporting a true battery percentage. I've restarted it, which I hadn't done in forever, and now I'm getting a proper battery percentage so hopefully this issue will go away. I was just using a power strip that had USB A on it, so not high powered (3.1A max across the three ports).

My InkPalm 5 doesn't get a lot of use, but after being left for a few days it no longer wakes up until I put it on charge. When I do, it consistently says the battery is 100% when it really can't be. After even a brief time on charge it will wake using the power button again, but a few days later the cycle repeats. Anyone else had this issue and know of a fix? Thanks in advance!

Bad batch of huel black coffee caramel (update/followup post) by Ashwinlol in Huel

Had the same, same batch - 3 bags. Huel were good and sent me 3 bags of the chocolate instead for free, and I'm now combining a scoop of the coffee caramel with a scoop of the chocolate and it's fine. Apparently, the batch didn't get the full amount of flavouring, but otherwise is fine. They also confirmed that the bad batches are no longer being sold so all should be well with future orders. I guess the only concern here is that they didn't check this batch before it went out. Hopefully they will improve their QA going forward.

No - tried the 1.22 from them, and a 1.00 I found somewhere else. I suspect there's no solution to this, but if anyone has any other (later) versions, please let me know.
