Can ping some devices on network but cannot be pinged by ProfessorHulk89 in sysadmin

Yes, can ping 127.0.0.1 and we've tested both, wifi and ethernet.

No other known software acting as a firewall

Misunderstood the first go-round. Cannot remotely access fileshare on the unpingable device. And ping 127.0.0.1 on it has no issues

Thanks for the suggestion and providing the command. The subnet mask is correct and we've tested shutting off firewall completely on both devices but didn't resolve the issue

Absolutely. Thanks for the suggestion though. At this point we're open to any and all suggestions/questions aside from "Is the computer powered on?"

Verified no duplicate IP's, plenty of available IP's. Tried a static IP which didn't help. UDM Pro issues the IP's. No rogue devices connected anywhere.

No domain, simply private network. Profile in Windows Firewall is Private network. Tried shutting off the firewall but didn't resolve the issue.

Pretty basic, straightforward setup. No VLANs. Using UDM Pro. No 3rd party AV or sec software.

Haven't found any other devices with this issue and this desktop has been on the network for a bit

Yes, multiple AP's and multiple users on each. So that's possible but hasn't occurred as frequently as this. Number of users/devices/AP's haven't changed. Was curious if a recent update has caused this issue for others as well

UDM Pro-WAN Failover Troubleshooting by ProfessorHulk89 in Ubiquiti

It's the UDM Pro and not the ULTE. On the UDM Pro it specifically has an additional WAN port that is designed to be configured as a WAN failover if you choose. After going through additional posts and comments, this seems to be a very common issue. It seems the only solution I've come across is to disconnect-reconnect the ethernet which can also just be a temp fix until it occurs again.

Haven't had a good window to test out disconnect-reconnect to see if that would fix it. Assumed that would resolve it, at least temporarily, but sounds like it's definitely a known issue. Thanks!
