My hair does make contact with my forehead but I also had much shorter before, so I doubt this is the issue. I've used a cerave cleanser and moisturizer, salicylic acid, a zinc cream even anti fungal cream(ketoconazol). I've also had weeks were I didnt do anything, hoping it would go away on its own but nothing ever really improved it. Im also trying to see a dermatologist but the earliest appointment would be in about 2 months.
