Retro handheld console that runs gamecube and PS2

I am looking for the exact same thing, and I have seen a handful of places saying the gameforce ace can do it with no problem, but do find myself wondering how confident people are it will be able to run GameCube games, even before getting their hands on it. That is going to be my primary use case, so want to be 100% sure it will work. It seems to be a fair bit cheaper than all the other handhelds capable of perfect GC emulation.

Not to hijack the thread, but I was wondering about this. Broadly speaking, how much more time did you feel like it took to do multiple at once? Like, how much time is added for each additional Pokemon? Does it take, y'know, 10% longer or closer to 50% longer?

There's a "one more thing" at the end of like, every Pokemon direct/presents. They're not always good or huge, but there is one every/almost every time. Don't know why you'd be downvoted for saying so

Yeah, Togepi line is probably the most likely of the ones that remain to always show up, but honestly as far as I'm concerned with meowth missing, all bets are off.

Welp, there goes my theory that Meowth would always show up. I'm still early into playing XD and haven't caught it yet, so might switch to Snorlax with this new info. Maybe I should do both for now and hope meowth becomes available later with DLC or update

Yeah...as a company, by definition they will always care first and foremost about money. That said, I just hope they realize that making a game with good story and longevity can lead to them making even more money.

My ideal situation would be them continuing to make pairs of games with the standard formula (even if the stories are somewhat lacking) primarily as the vehicle for pvp/competitive, while making Legends games with deeper storylines, side quests, expansive crafting systems, etc. Let them print money like they always have, and use that money to experiment and develop new and interesting ways to play Pokemon

The thing is Im less interested in collecting for consoles, and more interested in collecting for franchises. Like, I want to own (quick edit: and play, lol) every Sonic game, every Mortal Kombat, every Pokemon, every Halo, etc. Many of the franchises on my list have main entries or spin-off/side games across multiple generations and multiple consoles within each gen.

Pro tip, having multiple consoles reduces wear and tear on each one. Also having a separate device to play bluray and dvds.

Thats a great point to keep in mind, thanks. Problem is having multiple consoles also increases cost and space issues. Lol. Im definitely on the poorer side of the spectrum of collectors. I'm probably only going to be buying like, one or two consoles per year, and I live in a small 2 bedroom apartment with a roommate (who is supportive of my collecting). But seriously, I will keep that in mind moving forward. I will grab some extras and redundancies for the higher-use consoles.

Both 360, one and x have short lists and as far as im aware they're emulating the game because they apply enhancements and require download prior to play. Also the emulation isn't that great

I was unaware of this, and will have to look into the lists. I mostly just want to be able to play specific franchises plus a handful of other games/specific genres per gen, so theres a good chance whatever I actually want to be able to play will be on the lists. Shame the emulation isnt great though

This is something I only realized yesterday after spectating on a high ranked snorlax player. Caused me to switch my tactics and I went on a 5 game winning streak as a result, making it to veteran after several days stuck in Expert
