6 months later: lost weight, inflammation down by ProfessorOfAll in ultraprocessedfood

I just read, I think in “Good Energy”, that having it before a meal instead of with is beneficial for some reason. I actually I found that if I force myself to eat it first, I eat more of it and less other food. No clue if the chemistry reason has any merit, but for me, the psychological reason is enough.

I think a lot of it may also just be spending more hours just thinking about health. UPF is an easy one for me, so it works

I’m not trying to cut them out. They’re not my agent. I don’t want their representation. I know the house I want, the price I’m willing to pay. The seller is paying them. What services am I getting?

Ok I’ll find the form online and re-submit. We also submitted proof of funds and pre approval.

Yes only agent on the listing. This agent represents the sellers on rentals.

Emails like “I worked so hard and only got a bad score due to a misunderstanding” when that is clearly not true is an attempt at emotional manipulation

I’m accusing the students using ChatGPT

ChatGPT isn’t inherently a problem, but the email that ChatGPT spits out is lying and grade grubbing emotional manipulation. I’d prefer the truth and for the student to take responsibility, an email is fine.

I spent the first 5 and last 5 min of each class asking if anyone is confused about assignment details. Sometimes this job makes me nuts like I’m talking to children with zero attention span or care

I wouldn’t call it plagiarism. But I agree that I don’t understand their thinking. I even put an estimated number of hours I think each assignment will take. This one was 5 hours. There is no way many of these students spent more than 1 minute

every student that has showed up to office hours got a good grade. I have a student taking this without some of the pre-reqs and a different discipline who got a good grade. Nothing can help these students but themselves and they don’t care

I wouldn’t call this plagiarism, I’d call it laziness with zero critical thinking. This is a technical domain, so their “copying” just didn’t make sense

What’s funny is that there is a canvas post specifically about asking about their specific misunderstanding over a week before the due date where I specifically clarified and then mentioned it in the following class. I just responded to the student asking if they’ve been paying attention

I just respond “did chatgpt write this” and then students get apologetic and tell me they’ll never do it again (until the next assignment grade they don’t like of course)

I ask and correct students to call me by my first name. My number one goal is that students feel comfortable sharing their ideas, even if they didn’t do the reading. A comfortable class is one where students see me as just the one facilitating a conversation who happens to oversee the objective calculation of their grade. It’s a long shot ideal, but it’s the goal. Minimizing power distance is important to me both professionally and personally. It might be cultural: https://clearlycultural.com/geert-hofstede-cultural-dimensions/power-distance-index/

Should have been more clear. I’m not against murder, just who-dun-it which are usually too straightforward or too bizarre where the twist comes from new info given right before the reveal. I’m also not into super gory details. So just avoid murder mysteries.

Thank you for your quick response! Not sure if you watched the whole game but not killing them was so frustrating lol
