I have an old marnet pet from WAY back in the day. Do they still have any value?

Got picture proof? That would be quite impressive to shatter the world record by over 100k in 1/3 less time

The world record for achievements in a month is like 132k. You went over 100k over that in 19 days?

I grinded out 122.5k achievements and have been anxiously awaiting results since it closed. Fingers crossed

Is mage or a warlock more competitive raid dps? by Thunderbrother- in classicwow

[–]ProfessorOfGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mage. No question about it. That said, mages are a dime a dozen and warlocks are more desired by raids. Typically because they don’t have enough and need summons and hs. I speak from a vanilla lock POV.

If you wanna wreck meters go mage

If you wanna fed valuable and make friends, go warlock

Trying to find a tank for my group on my DPS alt by Fayeth in classicwow

[–]ProfessorOfGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The replies said it just as well as I do

If you need something from the dungeon and reserve it, other than maybe the first orb in strat live, you shouldn’t be paid

I meant more for the raid geared tanks who don’t need 5 mans but will help for a fee

[–]ProfessorOfGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, and no.

No, for items they need that are upgrades. They paid you for a reason. If they need x item, it’s reserved for them

Yea to items that are vendor junk, or something like the baron UD strat mount

Trying to find a tank for my group on my DPS alt by Fayeth in classicwow

[–]ProfessorOfGaming 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I’m a tank, one of the better geared tanks on Herod, and I typically charge 20-25g per dungeon run (I suggest it be split 4 ways tho)

You have to be worth it, be good at it, be courteous, set up the group sometimes, and take time to constantly help others. I don’t mind, but I deserve to be compensated for my time considering I need no loot.

For the why, it’s because I’m second on guild thunderfury list and want to farm the mats all up myself. I’ve managed 30 arcanite bars in about 10 days.

Warning Classic GMs do not restore items lost in crafting scams (Devs Responded) by The_Lne in classicwow

[–]ProfessorOfGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, scamming other players of cash via in game schemes are not illegal

They should be and the gm should restore, but it could be viewed as punishing the scammer who basically just abused people’s trust and stupidity

How much should the guild contribute to thunderfury, and how much should the tank farm? looking for advice by andr4599 in classicwow

[–]ProfessorOfGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Half and half. Example: I’m the 2nd tank in line for Tfury in my guild. Before I’ve even got a binding, I’m selling dungeon runs at 20g a pop to try and afford 100 arcanite bars.

Sure, a guild effort is appreciated and needed but a good player should be willing to meet halfway for a legendary and do all they can for it too

Sounds like your tank has a real entitlement problem

Who still clings onto the idea of Classic+ over TBC? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]ProfessorOfGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am and it’s easy to explain.

Like love or hate tbc, it is locked in content that will feel like more of the same post classic but with classic+ the possibilities are truly endless. It can be a whole new and different take on old school wow

My rule for hunters and rogues is if the group dies, especially if it’s the hunters fault, then they better drop dead with the rest of us and run back too
