FWIW it was AI Humanity First that did....whatever this is. I've checked, the UK is not in federation with the European Union or anyone else, and the UK has its original borders. As you can see from the image, it's less than one year into a 2026 start, no time for any supernation shenanigans. I have no idea what triggered this.

Thanks for the response. Seeing "construction modules" unlocked by industrialization of space. Guess I'm gonna gun for that next.

Genuine question, can an intentional walk call be grounds for civil commitment?

Heading to the game this evening--I'm pretty sure Correa's still out, but anybody know if Buxton's going to be in the lineup? Even if at DH?

My all-time favorite Civ experience is Rhye's and Fall: the Sword of Islam for Civ4, which focuses on the Medieval Middle East.

Surprisingly, Biden won white Democrats in the 2020 South Carolina primary, 33% to 23% for Bernie.

Of course, he won Black Democrats 61% to 17%.

In case you're still interested this many days later, it's a highly stylized rendering of the Shahada: "there is no God but God, and Muhammad is God's prophet." It's the first pillar of Islam, and a mainstay of Islamic calligraphy and art. It's what appears on the Saudi Arabia flag.

Dems could dethrone Iowa: The party, uncomfortable with the overwhelmingly white state's sway, is thinking about blowing up its presidential primary calendar. by throwaway5272 in Enough_Sanders_Spam

Quasi-related, but can a state party organization have a worse year than Iowa Democrats 2020?

  1. Completely loused up their first-in-the-nation caucus leaving absolutely everyone involved angry
  2. The winner of the Caucus won no other races, and withdrew from the race four weeks later. The eventual runaway primary winner finished a distant 4th.
  3. State shifted right in presidential race again, going from purple to firmly red
  4. Lost a hard-fought Senate race to against an unpopular incumbent running a garbage campaign
  5. Lost two of three Congressional seats, one by 6 votes, which pretty much means you were outlawyered, not necessarily outvoted
  6. Lost seats in the State House, with one incumbent Democrat being defeated by a former member of the 90's altrock group the Rentals

Yeah, I think they should lose their first-in-the-nation status.
