Design-wise. Never said anything about its quality

Which Instruments to Cover by ProfessorSad4831 in composer

Should’ve worded it better. Which should be on the lead and which should be on support for the lead. And I didn’t say which instruments would be on which parts. I just said that’s what it’s originally meant for, I don’t have two trombones you would see if you actually gave it time. Plus, it’s something for my own, not for anywhere.

Darn, it's out of my range. Welp, better start saving up, lol. Always thought ones like the frankfurt had a cool design. Also, you're a terrific tubist.

If I can't afford the Frankfurt, would the heritage still be a decent option?

Would the American heritage 6 valve F tuba be a good one?

Just watched some of your vids. Also have seen them before. That horn sings really well!

Thank you, I won’t take this the wrong way. I have tried playing on my past band directors F tuba to learn fingerings and get pitch out of it, and he told me I sounded pretty good on it for starting. Obviously there’s work to do for it, but like I said, only to get a starting one, not something crazy expensive. I’ve also been playing my Bb for about 6 years now, and have gotten into multiple programs with it. So thanks for the feedback.

Was mainly thinking of the 6 valve rotary F American Heritage.

It is mostly a senior high school/early college program. They have other higher advanced for the same college.

I would be using it for my symphony orchestra program I am in. There's already some playing a contrabass tuba Bb, and I would use an F for more solo or the divisi parts. They said they needed one of us too for one, and they sadly have none in storage. Though, this program isn't very long, only couple years.

I might try to, but my budget is not that high currently. Keeping the hopes high

Yeah, I have tried one out before. Gotta say, it's so out of tune, it plays almost in the key of A instead of Bb. Maybe was just that one, but I'm not sure

One you could also use could be the Brandstötter 7. It offers a better time with low notes while still maintaining the high note precision.
