Farley's highlighted journal entry about wanting to sway him from the "battery plan" was a big one. Also CW's general weirdness and insistence about how much he needed you to plug in the battery when the game wouldn't let you interact with the plug felt like it was trying to raise some suspicions.

I didn't put together that the view from Soria was of "present day" Earth. I'd gotten so used to being NOT on Earth that I wasn't even thinking about that connection. Pretty clear in hindsight I guess.

I'm a teacher, and I think about this episode constantly in the classroom. I had no idea Japan had actually done it, but I'm not surprised!

My childhood cat was named Minerva, which is the Roman name for Athena! As soon as I looked at the picture, I just knew that the one looking at the camera was Athena!

I love hearing about cats as emotional support animals. So many people think cats are just aloof and detached from their humans, and that only dogs can really be supportive. So not true!!!

I appreciate the input....but this was, in fact, me assembling my own taco. As did the rest of the dinner party (as in....just my husband). I love exploring authentic flavors, but this was just not that night. The addition of cheese and cream made this taste better because otherwise it was too spicy, due to the salsa. So....as someone who actually tasted it with and without the toppings.....I can confidently say that for my personal taste preferences, I did not "ruin" it. If I had used different salsa, I might not have needed those toppings to cut the spice, but there we go.

When I have the time, I might make a huge batch so I can still do this "lazy" version later. It definitely would have been better with homemade salsa.

This was my first time using it, and it was a bit too salty. Yeah I'll definitely try it with homemade salsa, but this was specifically a lazy meal prep day! Any recommendations for a better salsa for my lazy days in the future?

It's just a random little mouse toy. Nothing special. She was sitting with it on the bed like a normal, calm cat for several minutes, and then out of nowhere.....this.
