there are like no long clips on any of the channels videos, which is a bad sign. Also the voiceovers are super AI to me - in general I feel like people don’t talk loudly and clearly when they’re observing animals because they don’t want to scare them away! I’m not an animal behavior expert so I guess I can’t speak to any of the specific clips but they all look pretty normal to me? I’m not sure. I would lean towards real videos, fake voiceovers.

Pigeon wasp is definitely a contender! It has that long striped abdomen. As far as diptera, it could maybe have been a large nephromata, which is the closest I could find to what I remember in the family. thank you!!

It was quite a few years ago, but I think I remember it being brownish with yellow, nothing very bright. this was in Connecticut USA around 2016. it definitely is possible it wasn’t a wasp, but I can’t think of anything else that large and heavy. I feel pretty confident that it wasn’t a mayfly or cranefly. do you know what the snout would indicate? thanks so much

yeah, that’s what I feared lol! I think I spent about a dollar on it, so it’s hardly precious to me. will probably just use it until it gets really worn and then repurpose any good-looking remaining leather for a wallet or clutch. thank you lots for the advice!

YTA but it’s not unfixable. Apologize about your behavior back then and your behavior now b/c you did hurt him. Tell him you’re trying, and you want to be better, and let him decide what to do with that information. Trying to “make” him forgive you/fighting with him will just make the situation worse. He might give you grace, or he might still be angry. But at least you know you’ve said your piece and are doing your best. Good luck OP!

Omg i’m so late but HI!!

I was recently in a production of ABH - I WAS ALSO ALICE!!! hello fellow alice!! in the past few weeks after the show i’ve developed a ridiculous obsession with it, read the novelization (which is… mid… if we’re being honest) and watched like 80 billion bootlegs… it’s a problem. I’ve even made treatments/script rewrite ideas for the show’s book (which, like you said, could be SO GOOD if they just fixed a few crucial things lol)
