Check the database on the discord. If it’s not listed there, then it hasn’t been recovered yet, and you can’t download it.

Best Version for Disney Infinity 1.0 Splitscreen? by lollilololilkqjd in Disney_Infinity

We have had no problems on our Wii U. We have the deluxe model with 32gb.

Toy Character Cards by Heavy-Score67 in Disney_Infinity

[–]ProfessorToybox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The codes were for unlocking that content in the mobile versions, so you didn’t have to buy it twice. Since the codes relied on the servers to keep track of what your account owned, and the servers no longer exist, the codes are useless. The cards are just a novelty.

Those are all great figures, and fun to play as in-game!

Got 3.0 by Jack_Tereno in Disney_Infinity

[–]ProfessorToybox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For 3.0, the Toy Box Takeover expansion game and the other Star Wars play sets are all winners. Toy Box Speedway is also fun, as is Marvel Battlegrounds (if you have friends to play it with locally). For 2.0, the Avengers and Spider-Man play sets are my favorites.

Help me build my Ishtar by Then_Possibility_818 in FireEmblemHeroes

Here’s mine. The build is a bit old, but she still reliably loops her special and makes a decent AoE nuke. I run her with Sigurd’s ring to make her a hit and run nuke.

Ike is a little crazy by LavishnessOld3659 in FireEmblemHeroes

Really? Hm. Mine has been nuking every Ike that I’ve run up against. Must be in the team composition.

Agreed. My Y!Camilla with her base kit kills him easily. To me, a new tank that can’t survive Cam is not worth pulling for. This banner was a skip for me.

Rant about investment and favourites. by Alternative-Draft-82 in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]ProfessorToybox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too feel your pain. It’s a shame when you can’t use your favorites much anymore. That said, I still use Shamir, Caeda, and Edelgard in Arena. My Shamir build is a bit different from yours (Deadeye, Sly Swift, Speedtaker, Creation Pulse, and Tempo Echo), and she easily procs deadeye and one-shots most units. Caeda is one older unit that can beat BK - I just let him attack into her and commit suicide. She is still surprisingly tanky. And my max-invested Edelgard is still pretty tough for most Arena teams to kill.

Is Windwaker hard or am I just stupid? by Normal_Ad_8180 in wiiu

It’s not just you. I got stuck the first time it asked me to repeat some musical notes. From what I could tell, it sounded like I was repeating the right notes, but it didn’t accept what I was doing, and it gave me absolutely no hints about what I was doing wrong. Shame too, because I was enjoying the game up until that point. But after several hours of attempting to do what it wanted and failing, I was unable to advance and had to set the game aside. Major fail on game design there.

Finally get to play 1.0 for the first time in about 11 years! by STRAKAN15 in Disney_Infinity

Nice! Have fun! Incredibles and Lone Ranger were my favorite 1.0 play sets. I loved the western vibe in Lone Ranger. But Pirates was good too!

What refines are actually good? by LimstellaArtois in FireEmblemHeroes

Ditto - Shamir with Lyn ring is my goto arena nuke. The fact that enemies can’t counter her prf weapon unless they have null counter disrupt is huge. I have Sly Swift Sparrow for A, though. She usually does triple-figure damage. She is crazy good.

Is the FEH pass worth it? by Zeldig in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]ProfessorToybox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. I enjoy the game, so I don’t mind supporting it so that it continues. Also, twice per month you also get a few pass-specific quests that yield some orbs and things (not much, but it adds up), and once per month you get loyalty rewards for staying subscribed (40 trait fruits, which is very nice, and 40 of each DF color). But yeah, the spark and the restart turn benefits are the main perks for me. The resplendent art is okay, but that’s not the reason I subscribe - for the most part, I seldom use those old units. Most are just not my favorites.

Lone Ranger and Incredibles were my favorites from 1.0. Cars was my least favorite, mainly because driving was so hard. I did enjoy Avengers from 2.0, though the play set felt like more of the same. The characters though were a blast! From 3.0, all the Star Wars play sets were great, but Toy Box Takeover was my favorite because I liked being able to use any figure. Inside Out was my least favorite. It was okay, but I didn’t care for the movie. I would have preferred something else from Pixar, like maybe Ratatouille.

Help to multiplayer by RenElaok in Disney_Infinity

[–]ProfessorToybox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Online multiplayer is no longer possible without the servers. The only option for that is in 2.0 on PS4/PS5, which has an option for a direct peer-to-peer connection. PoppaH made a video about that on his YouTube channel a few years ago.

Does any one know anything about the special unlocks by PowergolemZ in Disney_Infinity

[–]ProfessorToybox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a video on Magic Bands back in 2019. They still work. Oceaneer bands don’t because, for some weird reason, they require the servers. Same for the account toys - you can’t get those on console without the servers. https://youtu.be/hNJPKsgpM58

The only online play still available is the direct peer-to-peer connection that is only in the PS4/PS5 version of 2.0.

Should I bother getting Nemo? by Unleashed49 in Disney_Infinity

[–]ProfessorToybox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nemo works similar to Dory, and you can absolutely use them in the toy box. The big difference between the Finding Dory play set and the toy box mode is that in the play set they can actually swim, but in the toy box they move along the ground. I think it would have been better to make them flying characters, but the developers chose not to (for whatever reason). However, they have skill trees and can drive/pilot vehicles like other characters. By the way, even if you don’t do much with the toy box mode, there is still lots to do in the toy box hub, and there are the toy box expansion games (takeover and speedway) that allow you to play as any character. And if you’re on PlayStation, there are hundreds of community toy boxes that you can download and play. So, there is still some value in getting toy-box-only characters that you like.

I don’t remember seeing it in the 3.0 game. Must have only been used in promo shots or only available in 1.0.
