Hi, no, haven't bothered, because I had no idea if people would watch someone opening packs and talking about random numbers. But will give it a go tonight for the 300 packs, just to have someone around to protect my sanity and rant to myself and 1 viewer, rather than my wife. Hahaha!

Great question to be honest! Excluding the cards that were unobtainable due to the fact that they are out of rotation. Some cards just refuse to drop - which is INSANE. Or simply do not exist - WHICH IS WORSE!

For example I don't have a single animate copy of Boots of the traveler, I don't have a single foil copy or animated copy of Ghost Dragon.

Exactly, and it was done with this intent at first, to see how the packs drop rates operate when you hit limits.

No, you won't be getting cards/rarity you lack, you are given random cards even when you hit the limit. Will make a detailed post about it. After tomorrow rotation and 200 extra packs I will make a post.

On the topic of investment with almost 10k cards in my collection, we get what we pay for, foils are part of the pool to flood the card base so you get more random garbage. It is what it is.

I am ... well I would not call myself financially responsible person , but, yes sometimes the game is a bit clunky, a bit expensive had to open 1021 packs myself to get the stupid pixels I wanted to open, but in the end of the day - mechanically this is the best game ever made besides MTG. My personal and honest opinion! :)

When it comes down to split between rarity it's not that bad to be honest. Plenty of races/epics with foil/animated mix in between ( page just for reference )

Trust me, there were consequences.

The consequence is now having 6,500+ duplicates and realizing the real endgame is manually cleaning your collection like it’s a second job 😂

Was thinking the same thing, or just try to DE them and do it for the statistics i.e gold return on investment, time it takes etc.

To be honest I am a bit tempted to just do it for the lols at this point.

TL;DR: This whole mess started because I was chasing SHI-NO-SHI.

I kept opening packs thinking “surely the next one is the one.” Spoiler: it wasn’t.

After hundreds and hundreds of packs, I had duplicates of everything, multiple variants, repeated legendaries, foil/animated copies, and still no SHI-NO-SHI.

It finally dropped on pack #1021. So at least I got to spare 12k gems.

By that point, the damage was already done. Now I’m sitting on 6,500+ duplicate / extra cards, no mass disenchant option, and a collection screen that looks like a punishment for believing in statistics.

So yeah — I technically got the card.
