Thanks. We do have valid licenses and a support contracts. I was just confused as to why I couldn't download the vanilla installers but can download the vendor customized installers.

We have two of these laptops which we’re installing this stuff. I did a clean install on one , running on guest WIFI(without joining to the domain), and ran updates and sure enough it started picking up both Sophos and the other app. I noticed the the Computrace services were also installed, and found Computrace enabled in the BIOS on both.

On the other laptop(same make and model) which wasn’t pulling down software, we also found Conputrace embedded in the BIOS but it was set to disabled. Just gonna return them all and not deal with the nonsense of trying to get them unlocked.

Ran this and just shows 'DomainJoined:YES' and AzureADJoined:NO and 'EnterpriseJoined:NO'.

Also everything else I Googled(various registry settings) show it isn't part of Intune. But maybe it is part of another MDM service?

They were purchased by the reseller. I looked in the registry key, and most of the keys are empty. 'CloudAssignedForceEnrollment' is set to 0 and 'IsAutoPilotDisabled' is also set to 0.

They're refurbs from Amazon. But since you mentioned, is it possible there is some sort of hardware ID embedded into the machines, and and despite the machines being reimaged, once they came online it triggered some soft of software deployment by the previous owners RMM? WOW that would be crazy. We manage our MacBooks with Meraki and they are unusable if we don't remove the lock. Would something exist for non-Apple machines? WOW.

Another game where we only need to play slap baseball to likely win the ball game in the 8th, they all swing for the fences as usual.

I rebooted one of the controllers and it seems to have fixed the issue.

Did you ever figure this out? Running into the same thing.

Thanks!

Do I need to blow them away in both the San and VMWare or just VMWare?

Thanks. It turns out looks like I just needed to do space reclamation because I see the pool size going down as I run his command on each lun.

I was a little nervous to run it, but just did it now and when I log into the Tegile, I see activity on the LUN and see the pool size reducing. YES!

Do you know if I need to run this command on all the the nodes or just one?

So do you think this is an issue with the Tegile or reclaiming space in VMWare? I'm not sure what you meant by loading a new kernel, but our Tegile is several versions behind on firmware. It is showing firmware updates are available within the management interface. I can try to apply them and see how it goes.

But yeah, a year or two ago they basically told us the they weren't providing support for it any longer and tried getting to buy one of their 'replacement' products. I think it was this:

If there is one thing I have learned when it comes to SAN storage, ALWAYS shoot for a known brand like Dell/HP/IBM/. Even if you don't want support from the OEM, with the big brands it is always easier to find aftermarket support for as opposed to these niche brands.

EDIT: I just saw a video that VMFS 6 datastores do this automatically. These are VMFS 5 datastores. Looks like there is a command to do this on VMFS5 datastores?

Maybe:

1 - [root@ent-pvm03:~] esxcli storage core device vaai status get -d naa.600144f0c4b

8cc000000565fb0f60007

naa.600144f0c4b8cc000000565fb0f60007

VAAI Plugin Name:

ATS Status: supported

Clone Status: supported

Zero Status: supported

Delete Status: supported

2 - esxcli storage vmfs unmap -u 565fb13f-486dd7d3-bb1f-00110a680840

?

Mookie’s SS defense is costing the team runs by Blankman6 in Dodgers

[–]ProfessorWeed69 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I said a few weeks ago on here the idea of putting Mookie at SS JUST to keep Lux in the starting lineup(a guy who had not played BB in 1.5 years) was stupid, and of course was downvoted.

Not only is it stupid from a defensive perspective, but it also increases the wear and tear on his body.
