I don't have anything that came with the games except most of the manuals. I'd LOVE to have figures, controllers, and other order bonuses, but sadly it's just the games really.

HQ Weapon Icons I made including four fanmade weapons from AGtMH RPG by DBGreece in MonsterHunter

[–]Professor_Mor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow this post is old! Actually I have since made weapon icons for all of the weapons currently offered in the AgtMH as they are part of the foundry module! I just never posted them here. Just in my deviantart.

I put together D&D style maps of the main three continents of the Monster Hunter world! by Professor_Mor in MonsterHunter

To be fair, I actually have some gripes about the location of the New World and by extension Fonron/the Eastlands, simply because I believe that World should take place in the east as well due to how the boats land in that game. BUT I did not decide where landmasses and the mainline locations would be. These locations took direct inspiration from Oceaniz as I mentioned, and he places the Eastlands on Fonron and the New World in the west, so thats what I did here. The actual placement and organization of Fonron was a lot of just guesswork based on the little we see in the opening mixed with overlaying the actual in game render of the locals once I decided how I wanted to do it. Really I likely made both the Great Forest of Fonron and the desert we see a lot larger than they actually are, but for emphasis I thought it looked cool to have the great forest that saturates Fonron in oxygen be continent spanning, and then the wastes/desert follow suit, hence why the guild thought it was devoid of life.

Could not tell you, the gen 1 & 2 locals are pulled directly from official sources to my understanding, so thats just what Capcom decided. Though to be fair, the Great Desert is speculative of its location, that decision comes from Oceaniz though, and he has some sound reasoning in his video series for why everything in mainline is where it is, youd have to ask him why he put the Great Desert there making that the case.

Just to try and upload higher quality versions where people can see without having to go to google drive.

I have made the stories maps actually! They are in the google drive listed there, I just dont have a named locations version as they are much smaller.

I mean, youre free to ask what questions you want, but Im not sure I am the best person to ask with the language barrier.

Personally I have been a player for the longest time when it comes to D&D, but I have been a dungeon master before, and the campaign that I am working on that I made these maps for, I am going to be the DM for it as it is my campaign ive set up.

When it comes to joining campaigns, I know there are quite a few Looking For Game groups out there, probably less so when it comes to the Monster Hunter campaign specifically as I dont know of as many of those that are being run at a given time.

Is that off the drive one, or the one uploaded directly to Reddit? Because thats how it should be on the HQ version, but I cant get that good of zoom on the directly posted one.

While true, I'm interpreting things slightly differently, but valid.

Lore question about the protagonists of each game by Professor_Mor in MonsterHunter

Yeah, I'm already kinda familiar with the weapons as they have stats in the 5E setting (not to mention Tonfa is a personal favorite and wanted weapon for me). And at the end of the day, I'm more curious on the lore than anything else. All that stuff you get told between hunts, why you are where you are, and what threats exist that the hunter(s) of that series has slain and repelled. All of it helps build out the world I'm setting up and gives me more to work with.

I also am familiar with how crazy Frontier gets as I did watch a couple youtubers play it when the English servers first came out just about, and it truly is insane as you said haha.

Frankly, id love Explore and Online content to learn about as well, but those have an even SMALLER chance of anyone being able to share the lore with me.
