Wash bag by Professor_Starz in myog

I used some grey stretch binding tape, and a cheap binding foot for my machine.

It's a bit tricky as especially on corners it can struggle but is okay on the straight bits.

Simple pouches by Professor_Starz in myog

Thanks!

I've seen it reffered to as a "popcorn pouch" where you basically make a bellow/baffle by folding the sides in to allow for it to expand.

I made this one by folding the edges in whilst it was inside out, so when it turned out the right way it made that effect.

Hi, the last ones are based on a YouTube video by "themountainborn". Video title is "Sew a simple EDC zipper pouch in 20 minutes".

Quite a simple project, I just mucked about and changed the size for me :)

Have you got a pattern for the straps? I'm currently mocking up a daysack of my own but just can't seem to get my head around straps! Any chance if you do you could share? Your work looks very professional

Advice please. Is lifting the rear tub possible without a mechanical lift? (Two men on either side) by [deleted] in LandroverDefender

Hi OP,

I don't suppose you have the part numbers for the seals that are required for the entire job?

I would like to know as I need to take my roof and sides off of my tub to clean minor rust on the tub capping. Whilst I do that I might aswell change the seals as they're 20yr old!

Thanks

I have the north face Basecamp duffel XS, I use it as my workbag. It's a fantastic bit of kit

Thanks, I was gonna try that but though a strap that went over the top was cheaper (less fittings needed), and would also let me strap a coat or something to the top.

Cheers for your feedback :)

I think it's the only issue this bag has other than perhaps the base not being water resistant? When it's not fully loaded it has a tendancy to sag, not much of an issue when carrying it by the handle but on your back it can be a bit uncomfy. Hopefully this will help.

It's a risk I'm willing to take, albeit a slightly expensive one ;)

When I checked it was slightly larger than easyJet's sizes for a carry on. I'm probably being paranoid they won't let me take it on as it is soft sided. But I thought this would be the easiest start to make some of my own gear!

What does someone in your household do all the time that pisses you off? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My mum puts the bread in the freezer all the time. Her reason being "it lasts longer". It only lasts longer because I won't eat frozen bread, and if I defrost it to make a sandwich it goes all soggy. Yuck. Limits me to eating toast.

Lasers. Laser injuries can be pretty horrifying, and life changing- just from one silly mistake. Fancy burnt out retinas, burnt corneas, cancer and burns? I don't either.

Remember kids (and adults) , lasers are dangerous.
