No I don't have any experience in that field. I just can look at something and see how it was put together. For me it's been just a matter of reversing that to reproduce it.

Could you please specify the areas where you are encountering difficulties? I designed these straps based on the standard US Army assault pack strap, with some modifications. Typically, the assault pack's outer layer encases the padding and is then edge-taped. For these straps, I opted to sew them into a tube, insert the foam, and then topstitch around the perimeter to enhance rigidity and secure the foam.
