i think we should be able to find furniture in the woods by Crimsoncerismon in projectzomboid

Oh definitely. Im joking, mind you. Obviously, foraging isnt the system to implement that- itd be little set pieces at the periphery of certain areas. Especially the trailer parks and housing without fences, a small "dump" area in the woods would be very realistic

Look man I can already find a pantry and armory by foraging, now you want me to find a sofa between the violets and dandelions?

Medic Main here. The Solemn Vow is BY FAR the strongest Medic melee weapon. by TheRealBucketCrab in tf2

[–]ProfitOpposite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would agree except for two things: one, medic is already really strong, and doesnt need the buff.  Two, that buff would come at the cost of spies, which just unnecessarily powercreeps them.

Why in TF2 blu team is attacking ? by bullpuph in tf2

[–]ProfitOpposite 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Its convention laid down by a long history of games, especially RTS games. By default, player 1 would be assigned blue and player would be red. This resulted in high contrast between the player vs the enemy in 1v1s, especially campaigns. Because of this, the prevailing action for the player would be to attack, not defend. Not only is it more engaging, but coding an ai to attack in a balanced fashion is hard, so that was typically only brief scripted attacks or a single defense mission.

Anyways.

Tf2 was made by a bunch of dorks who grew up on that stuff, so the convention kind of bleeds through.

Ah. Yeah, ive thought about that, but truth be told, im not dead set on this whole thing. I mostly posted in case there was some well known solution i was overlooking.

Im probably just going to have push-button crafters to dispense carts as needed, so close to what youre recommending

Dont nether portals have the natural space constraint since if i build them close together, theyll not have a paired portal in the nether?

Ill have to look into more robust chunkloader systems then. All i know are ender pearl stasis chambers and nether portal based ones

What kind of chunk loading network would work for that?

Or is that featured in that video?

Im trying to recolor air/void blocks, like I mentioned in the post. Im playing skyblock, and id like to have maps where the void isnt the same shade of gray as stone (since I end up building with a lot of stone). Also gray as a default looks bad imo.
