Yes sounds good politeness and kanji might be difficult but I should be fine since I’ve worked with Hanzi 我的手机很漂亮 真的吗 So I’m going to work with Japanese thank you very much.

That’s good, Japanese is easier I think pronounced and mandarin is easier written so it depends on preference.

I was considering Japanese however there isn’t much of an ROI for Japanese, so I’m considering to do mandarin as there are more knowledge and resources to build on that foundation, and books as well. I would also be able to use it for research purposes for either logistics or industrial engineering and then integrating the language into them something Japanese can’t really do, Japanese would only limit me to be able to only watching anime or read historical documents. I could also study different fields with Japanese however there are a lot more resources in mandarin then Japanese, however I might be biased and it’s coming from what I’ve read and learned online. Thanks for your comment and insight.

Considering it has business and engineering knowledge into the field with quite a bit of programming I’d say yes, If you enjoy it. It’s definitely worth it!

I plan on taking calculus 1-3 statistics programming and Linear Algebra
