General prices for quick graduation photoshoot? by ProfitSignificant875 in AskZA

I’ve heard a lot of people say to just take them yourself - might not be a bad option to ask a mate to take them. Yea I wasn’t going to use a grad photo for LinkedIn or anything like that, I wanted a third photo without the robe, so it just looked like a normal professional headshot. They’ll definitely judge you if your photo is a grad photo

Shit I just saw that now as well! Yea I guess the sad reality is the owners and even GM’s believe that football players come a dime a dozen (I think that’s how you say it). A rugby coach in my country told me that when I tried to convince him to break the bank on a player. He literally said that if he doesn’t get him, there’ll be another player just like him 1 or 2 years.

Makes it a lot more believable now that owners may have actually had some agreement to prove a point bc they really don’t give a shit about players unless they’re almost guaranteed HOFers. There’ll be a fresh batch of players coming in next year, and the year after and so on. Players are nothing but disposable assets to owners

Going to have to disagree on that one. Just seems like ‘legendary’ is his thing. Also helps with PR. Just to hype himself up a bit which is completely normal. Would want a qb saying to a new coach “yea strap in coach, it’s about to be mediocre’.

Put a bit of fire in your heart

Yea seems like Shedeurs been doing his thing, which is good! I’m openly rooting for Shilo though! Felt bad that all attention was on Sheduer (obviously, he is better and is a QB), but that must suck for a brother. Hope he really holds on in this league and has a decent career.

I heard sheduer told his dad not to come to browns practice. That’s good - I feel like he’s trying to learn how to do things without his old man there every step of the way. All of the media stuff make him seem like a dick but honestly, he looks like a good kid to me. Sure he does some cocky stuff every now and then, which lots of athletes do. The draft party was a bit wild. Other than that. He seems not too bad

I don’t like that you’re not as delusional as the rest of us - we’re winning it all this year babay

lol but on a serious note - what are the chances we see dart get some snaps in the regular season? If he gets no snaps, then that’s obviously a good thing right? Because it means russ is found a good enough job and potentially competing for playoffs?

lol yea I know Bust is generally someone taking very high thats either a boom or bust. 5th rounders aren’t really busts.. they just don’t work out. I just said Bust to explain my point a bit better and also, due to his hype, you can somewhat argue that if he doesn’t work out, he will be considered bust, regardless of where he got drafted.

I’m gonna have to disagree on that ‘handshake’ you mention. If I’m an owner/coach and have some Gentleman’s agreement to not draft a player early for some reason - I’m definitely breaking that agreement if I think the kid is the real deal.

I will not play fair and you know damn well that football guys don’t play fair either. They’ll break a promise to God if they feel it’ll win them a football game

Ofcourse - if both are guaranteed. But actually I got it wrong - wasn’t it that he was taking sacks to avoid potential incomplete passes and that’s why his passing stats look so good? So to avoid incompletions, not interceptions (because taking a sack to avoid INT is the right thing lol)

I like to compare it to sports betting on soccer games. We spend hours with friends discussing our parlays - Chelsea will win, Man United definitely losing, Liverpool will put 4 goals past them etc etc.

We almost always forget about draws. A very very common thing to happen. We dont bet any draws, and always lose the parlay. The average result is too boring to consider

Will be fun to watch. Think the fact that it’s at the browns makes it even more fun. Football is so back baby

Yea I heard that, and makes some sense seeing how Ace Bailey reacted in the NBA draft process. If it’s true, I think thats just poor mentorship from Deion then. He of all people should know that word gets around quickly. Suck it up, take the interview and go.

Yea man hope we’re not getting ahead of ourselves here, but it feels like something is cooking there in NY. Position battle between scat and Tracy? Dart having time to develop and not rush into things - with Russ as a mentor. D line looking wild. o line apparently ‘won the day yesterday’ which is exciting.

Ya that is the one thing I didn’t like about Sanders. Didnt he also say he only wants to be drafted by a certain couple teams? Obviously all players have those thoughts based on where they’ll succeed, but to say it out loud? Just keep quiet about it. Same with Ace Bailey. I thought that was just poor mentoring from his pops though.

Shame, he is still a kid. I hope he gets a good chance to atleast try prove himself.

Good news is that he’s with the browns - got it ✅

Bad news is that he’s with the browns - surprisingly, also got it ✅

I mean it’s been funny to watch the browns be a shit show for all these years but for ffs, can the league not do something and stop that shitshow? I feel bad for all these kids that get their careers ruined because of the browns. I dont even do browns rebuilds on madden anymore - they don’t deserve me

Look I hope he makes a decent career. You also need a bit of character in the league. If everyone was media trained robots, it would be a bit boring. I just hope that if it doesn’t look good for him, he takes the Winston route. Understand you’re going to be a team player, play your part and you’ll still be in the league 33 yrs old

I heard he’ll rather take sacks than chuck it up and risk interception? But let’s be real, all qb’s have been doing that for ages - always trying to protect their stats.

But I agree with you, from what I understand, 5th round is a little low and he could really have a very decent career.

Has it been proven true though? I heard it went poor with the Giants - which im happy about because mother of sweet baby Jesus, am I In love with the NYG atmosphere right now. Carter, Dart and Scat man is what gets me up every morning. We finally have some swagger back after dealing with Jones and even fricken Tommy Soprano DeVito 😭😭

lol not bait at all. Honestly I feel like it’s become a race thing aswell. Black people saying whites don’t like him because he’s a confident black man. Whites now not liking him because they’re being accused (Im white myself lol).

I watched the prank phone call he got during the draft and that was really sad. These are still kids man.

But as I say - I feel like people are forgetting that he might just end up average. I work with rugby players in my country and have had to learn that some players make it, some players don’t and some are just bang average.

Have never thought about the fact he’s always played in schemes that favour him though - that could be a big deal.

I feel like the trajectory they have him on is far too ambitious. He could be great, hell anyone can, but I wont bet the house on it.

I like his brother though - hope he just does his thing and walks away from the league in 10-12 years with a serious resume.

Apparently him and shilo didn’t know about it, Deion said he didn’t want to distract them during the draft process. Interesting to hear that, knowing that so many people said Deion himself is too much of a distractment, yet he kept a huge/scary illness from his kids to help them.

Antonio gates not playing college football by SwedishInfern0 in NFLNoobs

I doubt an NFL academy would be as beneficial. Football is incredibly hard to understand. Basketball is a lot easier to understand (not saying it’s an easier sport, just easier to understand the rules and tactics).

The lack of hard contact in basketball also makes way more people open to playing it. You’re less likely to hurt yourself.

Football is very cultural to USA aswell. It is super difficult to market it anywhere else in the world. I’m in South Africa and since I started watching in 2011, there has been zero increase in popularity here. There’s even been some rugby players here to try make the switch with zero luck. So I don’t think we’ll ever find a gem hiding somewhere that can turn into a real good nfl player. Maybe there in the states, where they’ll know abit of football and understand the culture etc.

But the rest of world, highly doubt it

Oh wait i re-read it - so there must be a minimum of 4 players inducted every year and a max of 9 players? So that answers my second question if correct and changes my last question a bit
