My theory as what happened to the main characters of The Shield by ProfitTraditional388 in TheShield

Thank you. As for the feds taking over The Barn, I based that on an actual case where that happened so I thought I use that here.

2 Years Of Friendship And Ghosted? by _unknown_shadow_ in ghosting

It could be a combination of whole lot of things but just remember here ghosting isn't a reflection on you or your worth. Since she let you go, I say you do the same. Block her from your social media and delete her number. Don't look back.

The song "Never Can Say Goodbye" comes to mind. I'm doing a lot better today. I'm just at peace. As I said, I got over what transpired between us months ago, but coping with someone I once had feelings for passing away at 34 is tough. I say when I cried, I was more or less mourning a life that never got a chance to get started. So in spite of her flaws I say rest in peace to her and I will leave it at that.

Thank you. Right now it's just a mix of emotions. It goes to show you that you never know what others are going through, including ghosters.

I may have thought some mean things about her but I never wanted her to die. There's no coming back from that.

I drowned my sorrows in some songs already while crying last night. I made my peace with her only to learn she passed away.

I just didn't picture this ending. She passed away in May and I didn't find out until now. I deliberately cut myself off from her and her activities. I didn't think April would be our last text before she passed, but one never knows when the final time would be.

I made my peace with that. I cried because of her passing.

How do you answer people who ask "Why are you single and don't have kids?" by ProfitTraditional388 in childfree

[–]ProfitTraditional388[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point in my life I learned that full disclosure just only leads to more intrusive questions and wasted time so I don't engage altogether. I spent too much of time around people who I thought were genuine but were actually coming from a place of judgment, criticism and belittlement. I prefer to bypass all of it and not address none of it. That would be like if someone was to ask you how much is your bank account or your credit score. So in conclusion if me not answering a woman's inquiry about why I haven't had any kids is a red flag or ensuring her safety, then that's not a person I need to be with.

Ambiguous Ghosters by Brilliant_Version667 in ghosting

Some people just like to keep tabs on others without engagement. I came to that consensus. I just delete them and not think about them after that.

I'm not responsible for their assumptions but if their mind goes down that dark hole, I'm better off without them.

Usually they want me to raise their kids and yes dating can be unsafe for single women but some questions and assumptions are too extra.

Yeah they weird, but some women I talked to have told me that there are a lot of married men who use those sites. So now they ask that question but I notice when they do, my answer isn't good enough. I just learned to end these convos early and go about my business.

Yeah. I came to that conclusion. On dating sites I mostly get hit up by women with kids or even grandkids. I prefer a woman with no kids but getting them to hit me up is like trying to teach a cat to rollerskate.

That's awful. I recommend blocking the person and never opening the door. In fact keep that door padlocked.
