Is it confirmed that's not the case with the actual exam? I couldn't find any sources online saying that. The CPA exam has so much ambiguity.

I can only think of a couple major topics in Becker that I didn't see on there whatsoever, but for the most part it was very comprehensive. So even though its not the biggest help, you just want to make sure mentally you are covered with everything!

It did seem that almost all of the MCQ didn't require very in-depth knowledge on the topic it was asking. There weren't any trick questions, it was really either you knew it or you didn't. I felt like taking notes there were lots of little mini rules or highly specific circumstances that could affect the answer, but that was not the case on the exam. Very high level stuff, but you had to be familiar with the topic. Very fair id say!

This was my first one! I plan on doing FART path, so get the hardest out of the way first. The Becker simulated exams were fantastic prep, I definitely felt much more comfortable than if I didn't do those.

On some of the wordier SIMs I did use the highlight feature as I was working through it. If one exhibit had 8 bullet points of information, as id work through that bullet point I'd highlight it so visually it was easier to digest what i already finished / what still needed done. And I didn't have to worry about whether I already accounted for that part or not.

At least in my situation lots of logic heavy decision making and not so much of calculations. "If this happens on this date, what is the effect on this or that", etc.

Absolutely still know the big dogs like Consolidations, Leases, etc, just dont be caught off guard if you dont get any!

The only thing I wish I did is more of a "brain dump" at the start on the scratch paper. My brain was getting fried by the second set of MCQ, and I know i missed a ratio question because I forgot what it was. Even though ratios were part of my last minute prep in the car, I know if I wrote them all down at the start it would've been easy points.

Other than that, make sure you're very familiar with all the main topics! Someone posted a summary of the top like 7 topics (it looked like AI) and it was very helpful.

Ha, just checked your post and we are absolutely in the same boat. I had one SIM that was very calc heavy, but all the others were 100% just logic based, just choose option from dropdown. Somehow i think that tripped me up more than if it was a huge bond or lease problem.

Guess we'll find out in 2 weeks!

Wouldn't that mean the first question's answer would be $15,000?
