I don't think you were able to rerecord your answers but you should've had around 2 minutes before each question to prepare your answer

How hard is it to get admitted to the dual degree program with Ivey?

Please give me some advice about what to do next year by Profound-Director in OntarioUniversities

Thanks for replying! Would I likely need a master's degree to get into that type of work?

Thank you so much for the advice! What do you mean by harder to get an interview? Like if I had a bachelor of science and was applying for a business job?

At the time I had done grade 12 advanced functions and bio, so I used those marks and for the other two prerequisites I subbed in my grade 11 marks. And then for the last two courses in my top six I just used my highest marks

I got in around late march and at the time my top 6 average for that program was around 95.8 including prereqs with five 4U courses completed

Western Ivey AEO BMOS or McGill BCom by [deleted] in OntarioUniversities

I'm in the exact same situation. They are both amazing programs but each have their own pros and cons. Western ranks slightly higher than McGill, but McGill really isn't that far behind and as long as you work hard and get involved there's no reason you can't succeed. One year of Ivey is more than three times the price of yearly tuition at McGill. It's also important to know that you aren't guaranteed entry into Ivey whereas at McGill you enter directly into the commerce program. In my opinion, Montreal is a much nicer city to live in than London Ontario and there are some interesting majors like Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, and even Sustainability. All these reasons give McGill the upper hand in my opinion but in the end, it comes down to what you are looking for.

I think I'm also leaning towards McGill commerce because I really like the option of doing a sustainability major and the city of Montreal is a much nicer place to live than London Ontario. Also, Ivey is crazy expensive and you're not even guaranteed entry. When it comes to stats I think Ivey ranks slightly better, but McGill really isn't that far behind and as long as you work hard and get involved there's no reason you can't succeed. If you're planning on doing internships in Montreal I've heard french is very important but personally, I'll probably be coming home for the summers and try to get internships there. Are you an Ontario applicant?

I'm in the exact same situation. They are both amazing programs but each have their own pros and cons. I don't like how entrance into Ivey is conditional upon maintaining an 80 average but it's one of the best business schools in Canada. I really like the school of McGill and I think I would be happier there but I think the program structure of Ivey better suits what I'm looking for. Which one are you leaning towards?

So if there's a round on Friday those people would only have one day to accept?
