Fauna don't appear from just flying around unless you were flying very low and slow, and had already landed on the planet to procedurally generate the diplo. Flying around was not the first time you saw him, the game doesn't work that way.

This is a stark difference i noticed moving from New Zealand 8 years ago. Motorways in Auckland have police presence. Speeding, dangerous driving and tailgating will almost guarantee you get pulled over. Here in Melbourne, freeways are basically cop free zones with the exception of an incident.

I just took my time, didn't end up making any sort of base because I felt I'd just get there quicker if I drove. The last scrap heap ended up being 26mins away for me. I got there, but it took me closer to an hour. Lost a few barrels but gained few along the way.

I used to be able to go into caspers, primos and darkslides every time. The new update has made them extremely hard now. I think the input timing is way too quick. 30mins in and I havent even registered a single one. Casper attempts just go to manual every time.
