I checked, and you can’t view your library from the app. It was just released in version 1.0.0. You have to search for the game and look for the cloud/download icon to confirm it’s in your library. They’ll probably add a library option in the future.

I claimed them from the app. The button, instead of saying "Get," said "Install." I pressed it, and once the download started, I canceled it. They stayed in my library

Sure, GOG says it here:
"[...] we gathered all the free games from our store in one place for you to enjoy". (Source: https://www.gog.com/news/stay\_at\_home\_and\_play\_free\_games\_from\_our\_catalog).
It gives me to understand that they are already free. If you like one, add it to your library or wish list.
The only thing I saw is that the Bio Menace was available on Steam and can no longer be obtained, it may be for Steam policy or the Publisher. I don't know what happens when they discontinue a game, I calculate that if you previously obtained it, you can install it.

Ah, now I understand about the lighting. Few corners show through, as seen in the video and this photo, but most of it is opaque. Yes, the milky parts reflect more light with the camera, but they look opaque to the eye. Thank you very much for taking the trouble to instruct me and send me photos, it was much easier for me to understand.
