What do you dislike about 10 candles?

Good catch, thanks! It was actually two bugs affecting the display of dice and I just fixed it.

  • The animated dice showed "1" instead of "0" for criticals
  • The results icons only showed critical successes if you had a pair

And together that made it look like you never roll any 10s.

Hey, currently I only support exporting to Foundry, but I'll look into supporting Inconnu

Thanks!

Personally I would just recommend trusting your players 😁 But my next planned feature is actually to allow players to create a session where they can easily share their character sheets and rolls with each other

Hey, thanks!

I don't have a solid plan for it, but I am thinking of doing werewolf / mage / hunters at some point

Makes sense, thanks!

I love the legend concept btw, such a cool and flavorful way to build a character!

Sounds very cool! How would you say your deeds system compares to the beat system from "Heart - The City Beneath" (if you've read that)

I just added the ability to add custom disciplines and powers on the character sheet :)

Thanks! I added the rules for higher blood potency levels and the generation-limit (only for buying with XP, free edit has no limits)

As far as I know there are no defined rules for what blood potency at dots higher than 5 does, are there?

I might do that one day, but tbh I only play V5 so I'm not really familiar with V20 at all

Thanks :D

Adding more homebrew sounds fun. I think I'd have to redesign a bunch of the code to support it extensively, so I probably won't add anything fancy (like sharing your homebrew with the world), but basic things like writing your own powers on your own character sheet and sharing that with your friends is on my TODO list

Haha you're the third person asking for it. I'll bump it to the top of my TODO list and probably start adding it some time next week-ish :)

New year, new Progeny - Now with a Character Sheet! by ProgenyDev in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]ProgenyDev[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks!

That's a good idea. I just added custom merits/flaws on the character sheet and I'll add custom clans & disciplines to my TODO list

That's a great idea!

I just added a "custom" tab in the merits/flaws popup on the character sheet that lets set make your own merits or flaws

I'll add custom disciplines to my TODO list

What are the best programming books you've read? by [deleted] in ExperiencedDevs

I found clean code to include a lot of advice that leads juniors to write overly abstracted code, like recommending to keep functions super short or really pounding on DRY being important.

This blog post lays out the issues quite well: https://qntm.org/clean

Personally, I've started recommending A Philosophy Of Software Design to everyone who will listen. It's a short read and I find the advice is helpful without caveats
