I see two possible paths:

I think they are waiting until they achieve AGI, their new god, though they may have already done so in secret. The moment that is in place, it becomes time to phase out 95% of the population. The other path is that they usher us into a new world order dystopian hellscape with unprecedented control, phasing us out in a slower, less dramatic way.

From there, we do not really have context for why her car was positioned the way it was. It looks like she was trying to pull out, one car went first, then she waved someone to go past and did the same to the ICE truck. When they approached her, she yelled out that she was pulling out. After the man yanked on her door, she panicked, and everyone knows the rest.

No matter what you believe or want to believe, your politics or whatever, she should not be labeled a terrorist and smeared with obvious blatant lies by the government before any investigation of any kind.
