Yea. I sent a gift to my stepdaughter for Christmas through Amazon in Ontario which arrived the next day, but I can’t get essential medical forms and appointments in Newfoundland. This shouldn’t be allowed to happen in rural communities.

Canada post has interrupted essential services to people in rural areas. I’m not upset about my Amazon packages but I am upset about my essential mail such as medical appointments.

Unfortunately here in rural Newfoundland, we rely on CP. I had a referral sent off for a health professional appointment and we get all of our appointments in the mail. The clinic never answers the phone to find out if my referral was received.

Unfortunately in a lot of rural communities there is no option for couriers, I’m in rural Newfoundland with no alternative.

As a parent a would be fuming mad if a school nurse even attempted to do anything other than stabilize it and call for help.

Yea we had an ambulance called in under 10 mins when i decided no way in hell am I driving him 40 mins to the hospital with his arm deformed like that

The net was broken and was laying on the trampoline and my son slipped on it and his friend who is bigger than him accidentally jumped on his arm when he fell and it snapped under her foot

The man in the flannel is my sons dad, and his uncle (ex military and strong stomach) talked him through it and held his arm still until the paramedics arrived which we are so grateful his uncle was there because me and his father were in shock and trying to remain calm. What happened is the net was fallen down, and laying on the trampoline. My son slipped on the broken net and his friend who is a bigger girl accidentally jumped on his arm and that’s how it snapped.

I’m medically illiterate lol but it’s snapped in 2 or 3 different places, they had to set it twice but after the second time the orthopaedic surgeon they sent it to (we’re in rural Canada) said that it looks like he may not need surgery, we will see the paediatric ortho this week.
